The world is a scary place right now, and there are So Many Stressful Things all around us.Ā Many in our fandom are practicing careful social distancing and right now finding community online and happiness anywhere is a blessing.
Welcome to the second annual Dum-E Appreciation Hebdomad.Ā Ā
(Whatās a Hebdomad?Ā Thatās what the Dum-E bot in our server calls a week.)
Here is the low-pressure, low-expectation, low-stress calendar of events:
Monday, March 16 - Rec Day (Rec something Dum-E related)
Tuesday, March 17 - Comment on an artwork or fic related to Dum-E Day (Weāll be reblogging multiple from the WinterIron Discord Tumblr so hopefully they are easy to find)
Wednesday, March 18 - Poetry Day (Dum-E particularly likes acrostics and haikus)
Thursday, March 19 - Word Day (Ficlets, Drabbles, Headcanons, are fine)
Friday, March 20 - Creation Day (Make something! MSPaint? Awesome! Cross stitch? Sew yes! Mashed Potato sculpture? Nailed it.)
Saturday, March 21 - Art Day (Similar to creation day. You do you.)
Sunday, March 23 - Rec and Reblog Day for any of your favorites from the week
Do one or do them all.Ā If youāre like us, youāve got some extended time at home ahead of you.Ā And best of all, win a prize!Ā Last year we sent out 50 prize envelopes through the mail.Ā This year because of Covid-19 health concerns youāll get a digital packet emailed to you instead.Ā Everyone who participates in 3 or more activities will get one. Ā It will contain:
- A digital badge for your blog
- A digital letter from Tony Stark on Stark Industries Letterhead that you can print for yourself!
Youāll just need to come back to the WinterIron Server Discord Tumblr account to fill out the form we put up on March 24th.
Weāll also enter everyone who fills out that form into a drawing and one extra lucky person will win a $20 digital gift card to Amazon!
