Creating a football blog was literally one of the best decisions of my life. No one in my life realizes how much this sport means to me, how much some of the players mean to me, or how much happiness I get out of all of it. It is nice to finally have a place where I can freak out about football and not have people tell me to calm down because “its only a sport.”

So, (maybe due to a severe lack of sleep) I just realized that the players of Croatia NT could fit pretty well in a super hero AU :

First, Luka would make a great Captain America Croatia. I mean, not only is he already the captain of his national team, but people doubted him at first, saying he was too small and weak, only for him to prove them wrong.

Then Mario would be Hulk, because, you know, anger issues. Also, I think the line “That’s my secret: I’m always angry” would suit him well.

Next in line, Domagoj would 100% be Thor. I mean tall, dorky, long blond hair and does stupid things with beer? That screams Thor, if you ask me. (also, the mental image of Domo emptying his beer on someone’s head before shouting “another!” is hilarious)

Also, Ivan as Iron Man, just because it would be fun to have Raketa being able to throw actual rockets.

They’re the first that came to my mind, but I’m sure something could be done with the rest of the team, too! Anyway, thanks for coming to my rambling.
