I create awards for your achievements like trophies, medals, certificates, and even video game-style achievements!

I post both my own ideas and awards requested by followers

Learn a Skill Activity!

One of the skills I find most useful is Cope Ahead.

This skill allows us to plan out how we’d cope with a stressful situation.

The quick version of this is:

Step One - Think of a situation that may provoke strong emotions. This could be a situation that you’re anticipating or something you’ve struggled with in the past that you feel may come up again. It could even be dealing with tough errands, or a symptom like a panic attack. List what emotions you think you may feel, or impulses you may have.

Step Two - Plan out how you’d cope. Brainstorm any skills, or coping mechanisms you may use to cope with the skill.

Step Three - Rehearse it. Write how you’d apply the skills or coping mechanisms to the situation.

My challenge to you is to try this skill this week. Think of a situation that may come up for you, and plan out how to deal with it. This will help you be prepared.
