Hi! My name is Emil, I'm 20 years old, use he/she pronouns and I currently don't have a particular fandom. But I talk about Miraculous: Ladybug, Stardew Valley, Lost, House M.D. and other TV Shows ocasionally! I'm Mexican-Venezuelan so I post in both Spanish and English.

Dylan & Liz Parqués — La Maldición

—Why are you doing this? —Liz asked, she was tired, her only functional eye hurting, breathing smoke and trying to maintain her composure as best as she could.

—I don't want to live anymore —Dylan answered, breathing slowly trying not to cof that much— for a while now

Liz was stunned, sad and angry, she couldn't believe Dylan would act that way, not after all that just happened. She looked behind her at the door that was threatening to close, and to the front again where her twin brother was badly injured and resting on the ground of the house like they weren't covered in smoke.

—You always do this to me —she got closer, feeling how she was about to cry— something bad happens and you want to kill yourself

—I'm sorry —he sounded sincere which made her even more mad— but don't worry, you'll live and get over it

—You really think that? —Liz now kneeled besides her brother, pulling down the skirt of her dress like she was a kid trying to cover up. Dylan moved his head as well as he could so he could see her with his left eye correctly— You think I will leave you to die and "get over it"?

—I hope so —his flat tone of voice made her sad— I was hoping to not be dead weight for you anymore

Liz couldn't help but to start crying, she hated when he acted like that, she sometimes was a little rough with him and her anger issues made her be more distant that what she would want, but hearing that from her own brother breaks her heart in thousands of pieces. Dylan just laid there, starting to feel his lungs hurting due to all the smoke, he tried not to laugh at how stupid that was.

—I would never have thought of that —Liz said finally, still crying— would you? if instead of you, I died right now, would you just move on like it's nothing?

Dylan looked at Liz straight in the eye for a few seconds.

—If you died right this moment and I don't? —Liz nodded, Dylan moved his head so he could look at the ceiling again— I would kill myself tomorrow

Liz started sobbing again, not knowing if it was selfish relief or if it was pure sadness about her brother's depression. Dylan closed his eyes while Liz kept crying, he heard how she stopped and how she started to move, he figured Liz got done with him and was going to go, but hearing her laying down alongside him broke him a little.

Now they were in silence, both waiting, hoping the other one would get up and choose to keep living, but neither move.

—It's messed up that we're alive —Dylan said as he felt himself getting numb.

—It's really messed up —Liz added, seeing a moth in the corner of her eye— 25 years of torture

Dylan didn't know what else to say, hearing Liz mirror his sad expression felt cruel. After a few seconds, when he felt like he was about to pass out and couldn't stop coughing, he spoke again.

—I love you Liz

—I love you all —Liz said between coughs— every one of you

Liz's respect and love not only for Dylan, but for the other three parts of himself that he just discovered was the last thing they could hear before passing out.

And the saddest part was that by that point, they both regretted not getting up before.
