why is the sims so addictive but only for a short amount of time??? like all u do is play the sims u donât sleep u donât eat itâs like youâre on drugs for around two days and then forget about it for the next whole year
God creating Adam and Eve then fucking off for the rest of the eternity like
What makes you think itâs okay to watch Hannibal given its subject matter?
sometimes i watch television shows for entertainment purposes.
How the fuck was this post made yesterday it feels so retro
I want small children to think I am either a goddess or a faerie but I want grown men to fear me
Blue hair
Honestly this is how colored hair works. Adult men automatically assume that I have loud opinions and will talk back to them (they are correct and have learned from experience), but children compliment me all the time.
i feel like in myths goddesses and fairies already have that relationship trope with men and children
blue hair. Can confirm.
Breaking the cycle of abuse doesn't always mean "having kids but not abusing them" it can also mean realizing that you aren't and may never be mentally fit to be a parent and making the choice to never have kids because of that. These are both equally valid ways to break the cycle
youth is a social contruct
or rather the glorification of it is. no one is having a good amazing time ever. life is an endless train plowing through bullshit at every age from 5 to 95 there is no magical point where shit gets more or less fun things just change and you change. there will always be happy times and shit times but there will never be wasted time because no matter how old you are you have the capacity to have happy moments and fulfilling experiences. youth is just a time to be naive and make stupid shitty decisions you can laugh at later. dont regret not being able to experience going to music festivals when you were 17, go to music festivals now. theres nothing actually special about being young. if you arent dead youve got time.
â if you arent dead youve got time. â
I just really want to say that the BLM movement is not a 2020 disaster by any means. I know a lot of ppl keep saying that this year keeps getting worse but I think that black voices finally being heard is a sign of improvement
I hate when people wonât let me say I âgrew up uglyâ in peace. âYou were never uglyâ YES I WAS. Leave me alone boys used to ask me out as a joke, girls used to call me cow or big bitch and make fun of my clothes. I might not have been âuglyâ but I grew up being taught to think I was.
You know, this is my most popular text post and it bothers me how many people relate to it. We didnât deserve that. This is me sending you love/good vibes. Weâre gonna be alright.
People have said this to me throughout my adulthood and itâs so invalidating. When someone says they âgrew up uglyâ itâs because they were mistreated as a child (a CHILD!) for not satisfying beauty standards. However they look now, theyâre talking about real pain they experienced, and they deserve to be taken at their word.

Gender reveal parties, and big planned reveals, literally were not a thing ten, fifteen years ago. Donât let anyone pull that âitâs a tradition!â crap on you, youngsters. Theyâre LYING. People would either get the ultrasound or not to find out about the genitals, and tell people or not. That was that.
The fuss over ârevealingâ a babyâs gender in utero stinks of pushback against the shift toward a more nuanced understanding of gender. I mean yeah part of it is social media, and trends catching on, but donât think for a minute this isnât part of some regressive attitudes creeping into the mainstream with a cute (blue or pink) bow on it.
Even the woman who helped popularize gender reveal parties is likeâŠslow your roll, fam.
She only had a gender reveal party because it was her first pregnancy that made it to a gender pregnancy scan. All her others had been miscarriages. She was only celebrating a pregnancy milestone!
thatâŠ..is a super valid reason for a party.
Wow, i did not expect that to be the reason this all started. Im so happy for her.
A desperate cleric slamming every healing spell so hard to bring someone back to life the ground is forced to grow plants and flowers around the body.
Decades later, guarded by a forest of roses and thorns, lies a corpse refusing to rot.
