Birth control?

I’m sitting in the doctors office waiting to have a chat about birth control.

I simply will not use anything hormonal, which more or less leaves me with the copper IUD, which C is pretty uncomfortable with me getting( and honestly it freaks me out a little too. All you hear is horror stories). If anyone has experience with the copper IUD, I would love to hear from you- or anyone who has two cents on the matter, come talk to me. I could use some guidance from ya’ll strong women.

I have had my iud for two years. I really love it. In hindsight it was worth the awkward and uncomfortable placement. Keep in mind everyone's body reacts differently. My periods are either lighter or non-existent.
