I’m Fly 17 yr old Boy from Canada ✌ Pre-Everything honorary Gay Uncle of my friend group
Crazy how the years change us
I'm now 21, 3 years on HRT, renting my own space. Less so a boy and more of a man even as it's stands I'm was never gonna be super masc but I'm comfortable and pretty content :)
(lol names changed but to what for awhile it's just been nothin 🤣 )
Carrying a pregnancy and having a baby doesn't make you less of a man!!
You're allowed to want that, you're allowed to not want that and you're allowed to feel conflicted. It's all up to you.
Mhacha loves you 💛💜💛
here’s a little comic about taking out your insecurities on others, positive outlets, and forgiveness :3c
non-binary people's choice to use or reject binary language is personal, unique & does not have to be all or nothing.
non-binary people are allowed to use binary language to describe themselves, whether or not they are aligned with that binary gender.
non-binary people are allowed to have a complex relationship with self-descriptors & identifying language, and having an unconventional relationship with gendered language does not give anyone permission to misgender or mislabel them.
non-binary people's relationship to language is unique, valid, and deserves respect.
Is it possible to like trick myself into believing I want top surgery/have dysphoria even thou I don’t ??? I read somewhere on tumblr I believe about how not to think about dysphoria or top surgery to much because you can end up tricking yourself into something you might not want or have etc it was something along the lines of that and it’s got me heavily doubting myself an not trusting my gut :(( it makes me question if this is all something my brain made up an if my whole life has been a lie..
Lee says:
I’ve seen (gross) people saying that trans guys need to have chest dysphoria and then get top surgery to be valid men, which makes folks think that they should want top surgery because that’s what trans guys are “supposed to” want.
So there can be some social pressure for trans guys to think they need to have dysphoria and need to get surgery, but that doesn’t mean that everyone who has dysphoria or wants surgery is being influenced by that pressure.
And I strongly disagree with saying that you shouldn’t think about dysphoria or getting top surgery in case you end up tricking yourself into thinking that you have/need it. It’s just the opposite!
If you spend a lot of time thinking about these things, you’re more likely to untangle what you really want and need from what you think that you “should” want or need.
If you don’t think about dysphoria, then it’ll be hard for you to figure out what is making you dysphoric and then it’ll be hard to come up with coping mechanism to address that. And if you don’t spend time thinking about dysphoria, then maybe people who don’t have gender dysphoria won’t realize that what they’re experiencing is something different, like body issues that aren’t related to gender identity.
If you don’t think about top surgery, then you won’t be able to spend time considering if it’s the right step for you to take or not. There are some people who spend a lot of time thinking about top surgery and then decide that top surgery isn’t the right choice for them, and they’ll cope with their dysphoria in other ways.
I honestly think that thinking about top surgery is a really good thing- you shouldn’t be getting a major surgery unless you’ve spent time thinking about whether or not it’s right for you!
I’m non-binary and I personally have dysphoria and I got top surgery- and I’m glad I spend a lot of time considering both because it’s helped me find the right path forward for me. Just thinking “Is this dysphoria?” or “Do I want surgery?” didn’t trick me, it helped me.
So no, your whole life isn’t a lie, and yes, I think it’s good to spend time thinking about these things.
