Day #30: Just the Beginning
You have made it to the end of NaNoWriMo! Whether you have won or not you now have some decisions to make.
Have you reached the end of your book? Then its time to go back and edit it! Get the work ready to be published. Even if you don’t think your work is good, that’s the point of the editing process.
Haven’t finished your story? Keep writing! Take the momentum from the month and work in finishing it. Even if you only wrote the first sentence, that is more than what you started the month with. Maybe by the end of December you will have a finished book!
Day #29: Use Tomorrow’s Motivation for Today
Tomorrow is the last day! Getting excited about tomorrow is a great way to motivate you today. Make plans and use that momentum to write today. You are near the finish line, use the excitement in your favor!
Wanna help a Gay Nerd with an important College paper about D&D?
I have an major paper to write for one of my Senior political science classes and lo and behold like the geek I am, I have chosen to write about the importance of D&D in our current political climate. Please take 5 minutes to answer this survey so that I can write a good paper and impress upon my professor that Dungeons and Dragons isn’t just a weird cult game that nerds play in their basement.
Edit; Anyone is welcome to do this survey as long as they have played D&D at some point. The survey will stay open for the next two weeks likely. Please feel free to share the link in that time! :)

Thanks so much Tumblr!!!
Day #28: The End is Nigh
Its possible you have reached the end of your story, and yet still haven’t reached your word word count. What happens after your resolution? Where can it go from there? Keep writing as if the story isn’t over. Maybe you could discover that there is more to your story.
Day #27: Write the First Few Sentences
Having a hard time writing a scene? Write a few sentences of the beginning, even if you don’t know where to go with it. Getting something down can release the floodgates and just let the scene go. Don’t worry about those sentences being good, just let them be the spark to get you through.
Day #26: Don’t Increase Your Daily Quota
We are nearing the end of NaNoWriMo and many of you may be behind on your word count. Don’t go increasing your daily word count, just keep to that 1,667 words per day. If you go over it then great job! Increasing the bar you have to reach will only make the monumental task of writing even harder. Don’t make things harder for yourself.
Day #25: Make a Date with Yourself
Your schedule has become jam packed, or you have some catching up to do. Time to make a date with yourself to cut some time out of your schedule for yourself. Light some candles, eat a good meal, and get into some comfortable clothing. Then just start writing! Get in the writing mood, remove distractions, and treat yourself.
Day #24: Home Stretch!
We are in the last seven days of NaNoWriMo! Don’t be worried if you don’t finish, just get as much as you can done. You can continue after NaNoWriMo. You have done an amazing job so far!
