you can go back to the past but nobody’s there
I think about it like this all the time when I go back to places I haven’t been to in a while that hold deep memories
fuuuuck i just realized that the future idealized version of myself cant exist without current me being the catalyst for change and doing hard things. has anybody heard about this
“In oneself lies the whole world, and if you know how to look and learn, then the door is there and the key is in your hand. Nobody on earth can give you either that key or the door to open, except yourself.”
— Jiddu Krishnamurti
The Political Swindler - Saner
Saner’s works are informed by Mexican folklore and customs, incorporating symbolic and iconographic elements from the traditions of his country and he follows a long tradition of social and political muralism in Mexico. Some of his characters wear ancient indigenous Nahuale masks, (Nahuales are demons that animals made a pact with so they could look like normal people in the day and transform into animals at night to cause calamity).
“There is no feeling, except the extremes of fear and grief, that does not find relief in music.”
— George Eliot, The Mill on the Floss

Moving on is a gift to yourself.
i had a dream i worked in an underwater restaurant and people kept ordering ice in their drinks and then getting mad at me when it would float away. and i’d tell them beforehand that the ice would float away & they’d be like lol no that’s not how it works just give me the ice. I’m fighting customer service battles never seen before
