when i say 'i want worse graphics', some ppl assume i mean 'i want stylyzed instead of realistic' then get mad at me for saying it wrong (???) so let me be clear:

i want worse graphics. i want the models topology to be a bit off, i want the rigging to have a few verts mis-weighted, i want the final model to not be accurate to the concept art cuz it would have been too labor intensive to make the scarf that long. i want the shading to do the thing where a real time character shadow is casting on top of another baked in shadow. i want whatever eases the devs workload and prevents crunch so they can go home to their loved ones and actually enjoy their life outside of work

One time I tried a new game in Skyrim where I played an Imperial and specked heavily into non-combat skills like Speech, Smithing, Alchemy, and Enchanting. The intent was he was going to be a shrewd businessman who came to Skyrim as a potential business venture and uses his vast knowledge of item crafting and his riches to make tools to give him an edge in any situation as he explores caves and ruins for valuable artifacts.

Instead, I acquired all the wine I could since it was cheaper than stamina potions and kept chugging it through my first dungeon runs so I could spam power attacks. As a result, while I kept the part of him being a shrewd merchant who could craft valuable items, I changed him to also being an alcoholic who traverses the most dangerous levels of Skyrim only because he's too drunk to realize it's a bad idea. When he comes to, he has no idea why he has all this valuable stuff on him and worries he stole it.

I like to assume he completed the entire story while drunk and had no idea he was the Dragonborn.

Let us just appreciate that this person’s dad didn’t know when they would be home and so he couldn’t plan for them to be able to join the family for dinner, but he knew with no doubts that dear sweet Meatloaf staying in that exact position for hours was an absolute in this scenario. Truly, that cat was named well.
