Random thing I thought of after looking at fanart of Castiel but what if there was an AU of Supernatural where Castiel was actually in a mental hospital and imagining everything with Sam, Dean, etc. 

Not an original idea because I know a shit ton of fandoms have this kind of theory but I thought it was interesting especially in this fanart because it made me think, “what if Cas wasn’t actually an angel and he’s imagining it???”
