Is it time to let go of past hurts so you can move into the new year with no negative vibes holding you back? Forgiveness plays a vital part in having a life that is blessed. Not only is it emotionally and physically healthy to go thru the forgiveness process but the feeling of relief you get as the weight is lifted off will leave you feeling light and mentally exhilarated. There are different ways to get thru the forgiveness stages. One way is to pray fervently to God to help you release the old baggage of raw emotions you have kept buried deep within you. Simply ask God to take it from you, and that it no longer serves a purpose for you to hold onto anymore. Or, try using the attic visualization, or the box/elevator/mountain visualization. You can also choose to listen to a guided meditation to assist you in releasing your anger, guilt, regret, resentment, etc. Or if you like the simple and direct approach, just ask yourself a few questions to get to the answer of does this truly belong to me? If it doesnt belong to me, then why am I choosing to carry it? What would it be like if I choose to let go of it, and accept that they were doing the best they could at that time with what they knew and the tools they had in their "life toolbox"? There are so many different variations of defining a #soulmate. Hollywood and Disneys perception is that soulmates live #happilyeverafter. Others believe that they are two souls intertwined through the ages and reconnect in each lifetime to live, learn and grow. There is always a #connection, a deep feeling of #familiarity. Most times you are on the same #frequency of existence. But, at times, our soulmates are here to #teach us a #lifelesson, to #grow as individuals, to direct us to our #trueself. Some people are #blessed to have more than one soulmate in their lifetime, while others wonder why they have not yet met theirs. Its not always meant to be all grand and glorious with no fights, or stressors. Thats just life when you share life with another human, its to be expected to experience strife or conflict. The thing we must try to remember during those down dip periods in our relationships/marriages is that we fell in love with them regardless if they were our soulmate.
