i see a lot of "movie rocky was just kind of a freak after being left alone for 50 years" but what abput the far funnier option which is that he was always just a freaky fucking nudist guy and when he was chosen for the trip everyone was like "dude. no. no way. why would you put the guy who wont wear pants in the ship with us. what the hell"
Science has backed up what many of us have long been saying: the library rocks. A study from the New York Public Library surveyed 1,974 user
Some top-line statistics from the study:
– 92% of respondents reported feeling somewhat to very “calm / peaceful” after visiting the Library – 74% of respondents reported that their library use positively affects how equipped they feel to cope with the world – 90% of respondents reported that their Library use positively affects how much they love to learn new things – 88% of respondents reported that their Library use has supported their personal growth
oh nothing, just a hearse riding across ur dash.
You know folks, the weirdest thing about being super invested in small town gothic aesthetics or whatever you want to call them, is that it's kinda hard to participate. A majority of small town gothic horror is set somewhere in the United States, and the general mood of the place is heavily set up by the atmosphere and the weather. Your honour, I live in a regular town in the mediterranean, and most of the time it's sunny. What am I supposed to aestheticize? To take photographs of? The lemon trees? Old houses long abandoned? The illegal fishing operations? The mountains and the sea surrounding us on all sides? The remnants of that old manor that burnt down in a housefire? Actually wait, now that I put it like that, I could use the ever constantly sunny weather as an ironic juxtaposition. Maybe have some sort of daylight horror going on. That would make a good movie.

Sorry guys, it’s that time of the year again, I get very invested in blue shift characters that never get mentioned again in future installments, more thoughts in the tags
what if we all explode
This very production of Orpheus & Eurydice is now available to stream, free, for the month of June.
Y'all ready for yet another "question thyself" poll topic?
Black users! Have you ever experienced or witnessed antiblackness on this app?
Yes
No actually!
I'm not Black (yes you can press)
By witnessing, I mean you saw someone else Black getting mistreated. Experiencing also doesn't have to be direct mistreatment of you, it can be scrolling and seeing whitewashing, misused AAVE, anything that you saw and did The Sigh™ to.
Nonblack users! Have you ever witnessed someone Black (other than Mrs. Ice CBC) experiencing antiblackness?
Yes
No actually!
I am a Black user
I say other than me because that's just not fair atp lmao.
Sometimes I just wonder bc it seem like every other day it's "I can't believe this is happening on here!" But idk how you could 1) be here and 2) be aware of what antiblackness looks like and not see it. I wonder what I'd get if this actually made it outside of a generally informed space
sorry but once you notice how often ppl use a southern accent as shorthand for being unintelligent you can never unsee it. classism is baked so deeply and why are you acting like anyone who talks the way my grandfather talks is stupid.
only two books I've made so far.
Bonus
these are getting weird
posting this on twitter will get you put into witness protection
