At the end of the day Jake only started worrying about Spider being kidnapped or captured by the RDA when it begann having a truly negative effect (the RDA becoming able to breath the air) on him. He did not give two shit's about Spider's wellbeing and location beforehand and I feel like we need to recognise that.
