The reblog chain is one of the things that makes Tumblr unlike anywhere else. All the notes on reblogs are attributed to the original post, no matter which branch people actually liked or reblogged. We want to keep encouraging conversations, and give contributors the recognition they deserve.

Soon, you'll be able to like, reblog, or reply to any part of a reblog chain, and that note will go to that reblog's author. Each reblog will have its own counts, instead of one aggregated number from every version of the post. And yes, you’ll be able to like multiple posts in one chain.

If a reblog doesn't add anything, the love flows up to the last person in the chain who did. Your post doesn't lose notes just because people spread it quietly.

Past notes will stay on the original post — we're only changing what happens from here on out. Retroactively re-attributing all of them would be... a lot.

First Meeting

Miss Mist first met Fireboy and Watergirl after one of them fell into the green goo before they fully knew what it was or how dangerous it was, and she managed to reform them from the particles of vapor/steam/smoke in the air. Not the best of first meetings, but better late than never.

I’ve been going down a rabbit hole of revisiting media from my childhood and looking back at the characters I’ve loved (MCSM, Octonauts, and more), and was reminded of Fireboy and Watergirl my BABIES and decided to revamp an old OC of mine.

This is Miss Mist! She can be any type of cloud, whether it be mist, fog, thunderclouds, etc. Though she can change what she is at will, it mostly depends on her mood.

She’s kinda like a mom/aunt/caretaker to the two, and she loves them so much <3 Whenever either of the two falls into the opposite element (or into the green goo), she can gather up their particles from the air and reform them. She loves how adventurous they are and always swoops in to give them somewhere to rest after a long day.

Help a trans boy escape forced marriage!!

Hi guys! A bit of a different tune from my usual tune but my abusive parents have been getting worse recently, including raising the possibility of marrying me off as soon as I graduate HIGH SCHOOL (I'm 17).

In order to avoid this I'm planning to leave to go to University this year I'll need to be able to pay my way through year 1 before I can apply for estrangement scholarships.
