Google Flexed on us AGAIN
It's interesting to see how Napster went down, how the file sharing sites became regulated, and now with the launch of Google on the side of legit music, the website that used to host the files connected to all of these links has been terminated. How tempting is it to pay Google Music and have every song ever made? Where does the line get drawn with what artists are popular enough to get their music in and searchable? I wonder if any artists I know have made headway there and how they did... Do the publishing websites that offer to get your music up on an array of music download and streaming platforms now offer to get you on Google?
For those who don't recall, google's link shrinking service cut off my links to the free music within 24-48 hours. It is as if every link sent through was screened or monitored. It must have been flagged.
