Benji looked up at the night sky, his hands coming up behind his head as he stared at the invisible lines and patterns that created the constellations. Memories from camp beginning to run in his head as the godling looked on. Hearing movement around him, the son of Hebe had hoped it were other godlings joining him in observing the night sky. The same sky that perhaps has watched them back. Through their best times and their worst. It saw the creation of many friendships and the end of them, some never forging again as some of them left, and others turned into passionate romances. It saw the strong bond of trust and camaraderie capable between each of them. Saw each of them perform at their peak of power and also saw them at their least redeemable, and perhaps it still wished to see them as they spoke to one another now.

Well, it's been a officially 365 days. The world danced around the sun and it's recent step and turn landed on Benji's birthday. A dance similar to Earth's has happened here as well, it's sibling Saturn pirouetting for 28 years to come to the same position it had been in all those years ago. Felt like a new beginnings in some regards. He stands in front of the door to the Asteria cabin, one hand knocking on the door while another holds a box of prepared baked goods, different types of sweet breads from different cultures, expertly made by the creatures who manned the cafeteria. As he waits, Benji's brow furrowed in a concerned confusion.

"Crap, I think I was meant to meet him at my cabin this time."

" I get you. Honestly, I haven't had a week that's been the same as the last, every week something drastic happens that changes the whole ball game, or changes up something in me," His powers were very much on his powers, constantly changing, him getting stronger, changing timelines, his weird dream, he even loss some of his powers and while he did miss some of them, he did love the ones that this timeline's Heracles gave to him, it's been on his mind to talk to his new father, see if the God would respond and what his view on all of this was. " All I know is, I am taking a long fucking break, I am exhausted." It was true, Evan was tired, his body was sore from their last mission, maybe it was the growing beyond his mortal limitations, but the small break that he envisioned for himself was going to do wonders to get Evan back on the ball when he returned. Hearing Benji's time ramble, he couldn't help but laugh, " That's truly what all of this sounds like." Evan was never a man that picked up on small cues, like Benji's sudden shift as he saw the taller male shirtless. Evan certainly gained some muscle over his short time here, feeling a bit like Spiderman as his body was getting into shape fast. He was of course in shape when he got here, but now he was a bit more rugged, muscles soft still, but firm, his hair longer, stubble coming in, chest hair, he was growing into a full fledge warrior of Heracles afterall. " You're doing well for yourself man, don't sweat it," He patted Benji on the shoulder with a firm hand. At Benji's suggestion...Evan didn't get it, " A workout?" He asked, " I feel like it would be a slippery place to workout."

"Hah, yep... That... That's going to be... more than sore tomorrow." Benji groans a bit as Evan demonstrated his godling strength on his shoulder. If this much damage could be done to just his shoulder, the son of Hebe could only imagine what else Evan was capable of. "Y-Yeah, I can definitely see how a workout in there could be tricky."

"Might be a good reason for us to use the steam room instead? Plenty of room and seating for... practically anything. But of course, only if you want to..." Benji attempts to goad him a little bit more. Tying a towel over his waist several couple times as he continued on his attempts. "That and if nobody ends up putting mint oil onto the sauna stones. It may relax the nerves, but it's a bitch on the eyes."

"Came to visit little ole me?" Robbie had heard the knocking on his door and had proceeded to open it. Grinning as he saw his fellow demigod. "Just got back from another mission, I take it?" Robbie asked curiously as he tilted his head and looked at hte other.

"Why are you so surprised?" Benji comments back, his eyebrows furrowed together while he leans himself against the fellow demigod's doorway. "And yes, I come back from yet another trippy quest. And in one piece, you can hold the applause." Benji teases, "Did I miss anything while I was gone? No earth-shattering or universe ending secrets revealed while I was gone?"

               " not much. " winter smiles. " just having some much needed food. " he responded. " yea, you know, trying to figure out this timeline. a lot of changes i'm getting use to. even in my own life, family matters, all that. it's strange how one thing we changed in the past had this much of a butterfly effect. " winter took a bite of his sandwich. " has anything changed for you? "

"Glad to have had the same idea." Benji winks as he raises his juice box towards him. "Cheers." He says as he takes a sip from it. "Feels like it's one thing after another, huh? Are quests always this... timey wimey?" The son of Hebe asks, getting a couple of fries to dip in his ketchup. "I'm still trying to make sense of it. So far I got a lot to start my own true crime podcast, but not sure if I'd be incriminating myself if I do. I'd also look terrible in some headphones too, so... Just business as usual."

"You can read palms, right?" Benji asks curiously, observing the son of Hecate as he lounged against the kitchen counter. It's been a while since Benji had decided to visit his fellow demigods at their own cabins. Time shenanigans hopefully finally out of the way, he had hoped to spend some time with Luca. Though, hopefully Luca didn't mind the strange questions and ramblings the son of Hebe may have to offer. "And not like the 'spitting in your hand, look there's your pool' kind of palm reading?"

"I've been a bit curious to how this magic stuff works."

A shake of the young man's head was soon followed by a quiet chuckle. "No shame with you, is there?" Robbie asked with an amused grin on his face. Despite his words, it was clear that there was no judgement. Just playful banter between them. Robbie let out a laugh. "Well...I'll happily be the person to break the streak." Robbie says with a wink. "Lady luck doesn't always favor fools, you know?"

Robbie grinned as he looked at the other. "Now why would I tell my opponent that? Also, why would you suggest a game you don't know how to play?" Robbie asked with a laugh as he looked at the other.

"Surprisingly, this is me with a full carton of shame. And you did kind of set me up for that one. You should be more careful next time." Benji teases, "It does favor beginners or so I've heard. Perhaps we should play a game of 'Go Fish', bet your luck would run out then."

"Once I start asking if you got any fours, look out. It'll be game over soon enough. Just hand over your jockstrap now." He returns the wink once again.

"Now hit me." He says with a bit of a enthusiastic bounce.

He chuckled at Benji's intense focus on the conversation that he forgot where they were. " I am a more go with the flow exerciser," Evan didn't really need to work out, his powers gave him all the strength he needed and their metabolism is much better as a Godling than as a mortal. Still, Evan could tell he was getting stronger still, his gains amplifying himself way faster than normal. " But a trainer always helps too, I had a trainer back home for like my first two years working out." He was a trainer himself, in his old life. " I very much feel along for the ride." Evan agreed. Walking into the locker room, Evan removed his shirt, tossing it into his unlocked locker as he grabbed his shower supplies, putting that on the bench, " How are you settling in though, making good connections?"

"I'm not gonna lie. It's, uh... I think I'm having to start from scratch? Everything's just changed so much, you know? I feel like I just blinked and landed back to before the Olympics started." Benji couldn't help admit. It looked like he had just settled down, finally able to breathe and take the fact that he was a demigod. Had a few misadventures with the other demigods in between then and now, but he had somehow still felt isolated. "But I think it'll be easier now that the time dust has settled."

"Time dang it. I time thought this time talk stuff would have gotten out of my time system by now, but looks like it's no time dice. That last one could've been better." Benji attempts to distract the brief hint of serious sentiment within time based humor once more as he digs through his own locker. The sudden sight of a shirtless Evan seemingly distracted the son of Hebe from his struggles connecting with others. "I... um... Ye-- Yeah, I've been training a bit more. Hoping to get those gains, you know? And maybe..." Benji pauses, tapping his tube of shampoo between his hands. "Maybe we can still get in a workout while we get ourselves cleaned?"

"Order up." Benji chuckles a bit to himself, ringing the bell prematurely. He shrugs to himself before looking around in the clearing of the woods where the son of Hebe had brought himself to. Along with the bell, Benji sets down the items he had brought with him. The son of Hebe had trouble finding a place where he felt comfortable enough to hold the ceremony and preform the ritual. Even his own cabin, while yes belonging to him, didn't feel like it was truly his home. What he knew from this timeline's Benji, didn't allow for him to rest easily either. It made him wonder if his karmic debt would somehow effect him in this ritual as well.

Most of the items joining the son of Hebe were in a box. Though he was sure he could have done without a couple things, but Benji thought probably better safe than sorry. He sets down the box for a moment onto a knoll of grass beside him, pulling out a folded up blanket. Taking a pair of corners, Benji shakes the blanket to nicely float and spread the blanket across the forest floor. Once laid flat, Benji brings the box with him to sit on top of the blanket. He blinks as he sees the blotches of dirt along the bottom of the box once he sets it down on the blanket. And with that, Benji decides to begin the ritual.

He rings the bell lightly into the cool crisp air of the forest. Benji holds onto the bell as he begins to feel a soft breeze against his skin. His eyes look at the bell in curiosity, perhaps a trick of the light or the jet lag from his previous couple of quests. Benji could have sworn there was a bit of push back against his hand and the bell. There were loud choruses of crickets as the son of Hebe began to recite the next piece of the spell work.

I pronounce my intentions to thee, Appear for me now and equals we shall be.

He rings the bell once more, his attention refocusing on the items in the box. His free hand reaches inside and pulls out a laminated menu from a diner. He was surprised to find it when he had first moved back into the Hebe cabin. It had only ever appeared once in his past and even then, Benji wasn't as confident to talk the server that had given him the menu, let alone take it as a keepsake. A soft smile is brought out from the son of Hebe as he places the menu onto the blanket. As he does so, Benji feels that push on his hand again. Benji simply eyes the bells curiously once more. There's a slow and gradual blinking of many lanternflies around the godling as Benji continues on with the next piece of the ritual.

Not master and servant, nor collar or chain. But partner to partner, equals in name.

The bell rings again, but without the use of Benji's hand. Seems like whatever pushed onto Benji's hand wanted to ring the bell as well, apparently the promise of being equals exciting the entity. Benji returns his attention to the box, bringing out a black hoodie he had found in the Hebe cabin. Losing it in his timeline, Benji was more than excited to find his frog prince hoodie. The hood even had golden accents to mimic a crown as well. This new timeline, as confusing as it was, Benji did appreciate finding what he's lost before had come back to him. He'll admit to it being a an unconventional.

I call you forth, and bind together, An eternal bond that lasts forever."

The bell rings once more, the unseen weight joining Benji's hand as the son of Hebe welcomed whatever had ran the bell with him. The breeze had picked up around him and wherever the son of Hebe tried to catch a glimpse of the creature, the lanternflies were persistent in blocking his sight. Using his hearing the gauge the size and stature of the creature wouldn't do either, the chirping of the crickets seemed to have boosted in volume, drowning out any sound for the son of Hebe. The weight on Benji's hand had continued to be maneuvered oddly, ringing the bell until it stopped. Silence. Darkness. Both surrounded the son of Hebe until he could parse out the features in front of him, the creature in front of him…

               winter was sitting alone at the dining hall, enjoying a very late lunch. he started to people watch, looking at the scattered godlings and listening in on their conversations with one another. he decided today he'd attempt being out and about. grabbing his cup, he started to drink the content, looking around and noticing a familiar face. the moment he saw benji, he waved him over. " hey. "

"Sup." Benji smiles widely at seeing the son of Hades seated at the dining hall. It had been a developmental couple of months? Weeks? The son of Hebe wasn't really aware where exactly they've broken through into this current timeline. "Haven't seen you around for a while. I remember seeing you a few times before the big time travel shenanigans. How have you been?"

Robbie grins as he heard Benji begin to speak. "Excuse you?" He countered as he looked at the son of Hebe with a cheeky grin on his face. Unlike Benji, Robbie wasn't neccessarily concerned about keeping his voice down. People know where their cabins are if the truly want quiet, although he wasn't going out of his way to yell either. "Riiiight. Of course." Robbie joked with a playful wink.

Robbie let out a chuckle before shrugging his shoulders. "Can always take this back to your cabin if strip poker is what you seek. Just don't come crying to me when you get demolished." Robbie said with a grin.

"Don't know why I would be crying about that. Getting demolished in my cabin-- hell, in any cabin-- sounds like a win to me." Benji returns the wit to the son of Tyche. "Although, I must warn you, I've been in a bit of a competitive streak recently, and no that wasn't a streaking reference but now I'm kinda upset I didn't come up with something for that though."

"Now, how the fuck do I play strip poker?" Benji chuckles a bit nervously in jest. "I believe the last card game I remember playing was Spoons, so don't be surprised by my quick reflexes."

Robbie lets out a snort as he hears Benji's words. "Need to work on your skills at lying friend." Robbie says with a smirk and a shrug of his shoulders. Robbie decides to take the seat. "I suppose I will allow you. But that means your one freebie for the night is gone." Robbie said with a smirk as he lifted one finger up.

Robbie let out a laugh. "That desperate to be indebted to me again, huh?" Robbie asked with a cheeky grin. "Fine. But nah...The debt can, however, go to both you and this timeline's Benji if you want?" Robbie offered with a smirk as he crossed his arms.

"Excuse me?" Benji begins, his hand places itself against his chest in a posture of faux offense. The son of Hebe looks around the library, hoping his offense to Robbie's words didn't disrupt the quiet of the space. He leans across the table closer to Robbie before whispering. "I'm an excellent liar. I just don't make it a habit to lie to my fellow new class."

"Yeah, well, I have to make my own fun around here somehow, even if it messes with the luck of this timeline's Benji." He winks at the other demigod. His eye twinkling in a bit of mischief as he returns the cheeky grin with his own. "Seeing as we're in a public place, I'm assuming strip poker is off the table?"

Evan wasn't always the best when it came to connection dots, he wasn't all that preceptive. But it does click every now and then, " Oh! I am the enemy," He corrected, followed by a laugh, " Sorry, slow on the uptake." Did Evan connect all of the dots that Benji meant him sleep with the enemy...no he did not. Evan was in the mood for some romance, he had a month where he started to discover his bisexuality, losing his v-card and even hooking up with a stranger or two, the faes mostly. He had his eye on someone, a few people actually, but relationships were complicated here at camp, Evan already had a bad time asking Ender to date Greyson, he didn't want to step on people's toes, he had no problems with Polyamory, loved the idea of it, he was just new to all of this. " I would say might is certainly angrier as well, I just got over all of these changes between the Olympics and now, I have whiplash." He smiled at the other, " Thanks Benji, I want to be trusted, I don't see any of just leaving," well, some do, " So we need to trust each other, have each other's backs." Evan stretched out his muscles, feeling the burn come over him, " I am going to hit the showers, how's your workout going?"

"Hmm? Workout? What do you mean--? Oh..." Benji eyes are peeled open in confusion before remembering where they were. He chuckles lightly, looking at himself in the mirror. He hadn't worked out much, only getting a few miles on the treadmill. He'd have to make a note to bug one of the mentors here about the specifics of their godly bodies. Probably not the best use of a mentor's time discussing a demigod's metabolism. He purses his lips as he watches the other stretch in front of him. "Oh, right. We were working out. Hard to keep focus with all this engrossing discussion going on around us."

"I could use a bit of a rinse myself. Haven't exactly worked out to failure, but I enjoy a nice pampering shower for myself." He chimes, following along towards the showers. "But tell me about it, I thought the first time around was overwhelming enough. Finding out who my mother really is, camp Blue Steel, the whole corruption thing. Whole thing's kinda nuts, or at least that's what I thought at first, for now it feels like I'm just along for the ride. Helping however I can."

" Glad you were able to figure out who you were in this timeline, I would have had no idea that I gotten up to what I did if it wasn't for Greyson," Evan admitted. Maybe they were all connected in some great tapestry or the fates guided them all together in one way or another, maybe Evan was always connected to his new family, even if it's on opposite sides in this universe, maybe they could have turned him good one day. He blushed softly at Benji saying sleeping with the enemy, " I don't think we did..." Evan has had a crush on their timelines Greyson for a while now, trying to prove himself to Ender, to show he would be a good date for Greyson, but now they were in a new timeline with a new Greyson, and while Evan, of course, was still harboring a crush, it was a lot more complex now. " He never mentioned it." " It's a lot, I am a bit nervous about how others see me right now, if they trust me, how much they know about this world's Evan and what he did, I wish I could figure out his life more," He wasn't sure how besides walking into the Norse camp, " Any other changes in your life here?"

"I.. Yes, Greyson is exactly who I was talking about..." Benji chuckles awkwardly, hoping Evan didn't notice. Unsurprisingly, the son of Hebe had been a bit too self indulgent to pick up on the budding romances around in this new timeline, or at least Evander's. Benji opted to simply take bets on the red thread flowing around camp instead. A nice break to the yellow tape he keeps finding in his new past.

"Not sure if it's a change exactly... this version of myself seemed to be a lot angrier. Maybe even acted on that anger too. Just... A lot of myself that I'm not recognizing." Benji begins to say. Maybe it was an adjustment the other experienced godlings were used to, dramatic changes in their life paths caused by the day to day of their Olympian blood.

"For what it's worth, I still trust you... I mean I feel like I barely met you still, but I don't know. You look trustworthy to me."

Robbie tilted his head to the side softly, a confused look crossing over his face. "What pronunciation?" He asked, truly lost in the sauce currently. Which granted, isn't unheard of with Robbie when it comes to Benji. The boy can sometimes feel confusing and almost a little enigmatic if he's being honest. But he does enjoy his conversations with the boy. They're entertaining even if he sometimes leaves them more confused than before.

Robbie snorted and nodded his head. "That trial was my second quest. My first one was...Definitely a unique experience." Robbie says with a chuckle. "A little surprised. I would of thought some nice meat would have been your favorite." Robbie jested back with a smirk.

"Oh, we were talking about food? Kidding... kinda." He grins playfully at the fellow demigod. He sits himself down at a table, offering the son of Tyche a seat beside himself. "But do you reckon there's still a chance for me to change my answer on that one?" Benji chuckles while keeping the tome within arms reach. He didn't suspect Robbie as the pickpocket type, but assuming all Robbie would need was a bit of luck to get a hold of his things, best to keep things within reach. Also the skin mag he had was a bottoms only edition, would have added to the embarrassment.

"You know we haven't finished our card game from before." He says in a low whisper, "Could be fun to start up a tab of bets while the new timeline is still young, so to speak. Maybe the debts can also go to this timeline's Benji too?"
