So, I'll won't be able to finish my digitized version of Crownus's design due to limited time. I did finish the coloring. I'm going to have to start drawing him from the beginning, with the lineart, then coloring.

The reason why this happened, though, is that I made the mistake of merging two layers into one. One for the lineart and the other for the coloring.

Basically, it made the whole drawing process a lot harder and messier to start drawing on top of the merged drawing, so I made the choice of doing it all from the beginning. And also because I'm sick.

So, both the drawing and the chapter 4 rewrite'll have to wait, unfortunately.

Right now, I have little time since I also need to focus on getting enough sleep while getting ready for university. So, I won't be posting here for a long shot.

I will try to be active with providing headcanons for both Jestyn and Knighter since I have a few for Jestyn's character, Crownus, as well. So I'll see what I can do for the schedule.

Look, I never wanted to watch season 2. At all.

But, to be completely honest... I am interested. Mostly the dynamic of Vox, Val, and Alastor. I think they're pretty interesting characters to analyze. But also because this scene is just so funny to me and idk why..

Anyhow, I'll try to watch season 2 when I have the chance. Plus, I also want to form my own opinion of whether I dislike the show or not. I used to hate it if I'm honest, that was mostly due to the large amount of hate the show got ever since season 1 premiered.

And, I just followed along with what everyone else said about the show ever since then. But, because there seems to be a few interesting stuff in this show, I'm gonna check it out. Even if the story and aesthetic of the show isn't my favorite.

Since I already posted this in the KoM community, I decided to show it here. Even if it's not one of my best drawings, I didn't want to burn myself out again, so I made something a bit more.. simplistic.

Also, for some context: Portra pulled a prank on Jestyn that, although he enjoyed it, was admittedly pissed off to say the least. So, as a little payback, he decided to bother his little friend while she was busy with one of her portraits. And, she isn't so happy about that either...

I mean, she should've expected this to happen. It's karma for her, really.

Hello! Back to the question mines for us all. Seeing as ya want 4 max, and there are 4 main guys... one for each!

Jestyn - what was his favorite performance when the theater was open?

Knighter - does he currently have a confidante? If not, how does he handle his emotions?

Wizzy - What would happen if I wore his hat or anything similar?

Prieston - what is his faith (is he Christian? What denomination)?

Back when the theater was still active, there was a performance called ‘The Devil’s Another Best Day Ever.’ In short, during that show, Jestyn would carry out his ‘special ritual’ every time his birthday came around, pulling all sorts of pranks on the other puppets. It eventually ended with him being punished by Crownus after trying to prank him as well… though that ‘punishment’ felt more like a gift to him. That’s why the performance was given that title. But if you’re asking about his favorite kind of performance in general, he enjoys showcasing his tricks in front of an audience. acrobatics, juggling, magic tricks, and the like.

It’s Wizzy! Whenever Knighter feels upset or annoyed by Jestyn’s behavior, he goes to Wizzy to vent. Wizzy does his best to listen and offer advice whenever he can, just to help Knighter feel a little better.

Wizzy thinks you look adorable wearing his hat. it’s a bit oversized on you. If he had a phone, he’d probably take as many pictures of you as he could while you’re wearing it.

Actually, I’d prefer to leave this up to your imagination, since I still have a lot to learn about religion for the sake of the story. But since you asked, I think Christianity would be his belief.

I find it interesting but not surprising how Wizzy is the sort of 'Therapist' of the group. And if that's what @thepipiuw's going for, then there's a lot of potential for where Wzzy's character arc could go for this story!

He could be someone who eventually gets burnt out, and now maybe us the MC, might have to be his confidant instead. Or, there could be an option where he snaps and loses his cool.

Or anything else really, but Wizzy has a lot going for him, character arc-wise. And he could be similar to Ragatha or Caine, someone who tries to hold the group together but eventually tires himself out.

Then again, he IS the oldest, it would make more sense if he ended up becoming a character like Kinger! which is a lot more fitting due to his age and the type of person he is. Still, again, he has A LOT of potential!

Me, knowing that I have dozens of unfinished projects to get work on, while already have a idea for a concept design for @thepipiuw's character Crownus's fan design. And, the thing is.. I already drew it.

Probably will do it digitally since I got a few inspos for the color/overall design from Pinterest, and other sources when doing research.

Why did I decide to make this design when I'm busy juggling other projects? simple. It's 'cause of a selfish reason, really. All because I haven't seen anyone make a fan interpretation of Crownus. Despite there being a lot of potential for it!

Plus, I think it's a nice way to get inspired to draw my other projects and actually get on writing some of 'em as well 👍️, but also 'cause Crownus is one of my favorite characters, even tho we canonically have not seen him. Also, the dude's an asshole, really. Yet I still love him!

Now, let's get to know her a bit...

Portra, if I were to describe her, I'd say she's pretty clingy and desperate. Well, she IS an artist, so of course she would be desperate for any sort of validation! But that sometimes would cost her health and her relationships. Classic "I'll push everyone away so I can focus on my work" kinda thing.

But, she isn't cruel or anything malecious, she's just... uhh, let's hear it from her Old friends!

Maid sisters! "She can be a bit.. much, but, oh! she can be fun at times! so nice of her to visit us every now and then.."

Wizzy "O-oh, Well, she rarely comes out of her room, but when she does. It's only to visit the sisters."

Knighter "...She should get out more often.."

Prieston "Ah.. Portra, well, I admire her determination. No one is quite as hard-working and attentive with her craft as she."

Jestyn "An artist with a big heart and ambition, who has listened to those she shouldn't have paid much mind to.. Especially HIM of all people.. such a shame really."

She's at least 180cm, so she's taller than the MC but not as much as the rest.

She rarely leaves her room and has mostly isolated herself ever since Crownus passed away.

She was quite a prankster alongside Jestyn! If you asked Knighter, he'd tell you how the two would often team up and pull pranks on the rest of the puppets for shits and giggles.

Her room is pretty messy. Full of crumbled papers and ink splattered around the walls..

She speaks Japanese and actually tried learning other languages out of curiosity.

So! if anyone else is curious, then feel free to ask! And sidenote- her current design might change in the future, since I feel like there's more I could've done.

Lorewise, it's still in developement but, but most of what I listed here are considered canon to the story of KoM. If there are any changes made, I'll edit this post or create another one for clarification.

So, not sure when this was released, but saw a few people posting stuff abt him, so decided to play the game. It's the Kingdom of Marionettes.

What are my thoughts?

Simply, it's gotta be my favorite visual horror novel yet!

Like, dude, Jestyn's got me on chokehold rn, I wanna draw him so bad but school's also got me by the neck. Which is also why I haven't posted a lot of my fanfics recently.

I don't think it's artblock per-se, but just don't have a lot of ideas so, I'm trying to focus on personal stuff for now.

But, speaking of Jestyn... he's an interesting character. And hopefully get some lore about him, and the entire theater in the actual game! I played the demo yesterday and it was a fun experience!

I might not post fanart exactly but... I will be rambling about him for a while. He's also hot as hell, like, that's peak character design right there. And you know it! I already have a self-insert oc in mind!

She's gonna be a poet, name will probably be Poetta but still thinkin' abt it. I really want to ship her with Jestyn but, god damn it, y/n is also technically me so.. gotta fix that. Shoot.

Long story short, I love Jestyn, I love the game, and I WOULD LOVE TO WRITE ABT HIM SOMEDAY!

William Afton and Elliot Ludwig comparison

It's not common, I won't deny, I keep seeing posts comparing William Afton from FNAF, and Elliot from PPT. Most of the reasons for their comparison are that they're both bad fathers. And honestly...? I don't see it.

I'm not a huge fan of FNAF, don't hate it, but not a fan, but I don't really see Elliot as a bad father per se. I see him as someone who didn't think his actions through, but was still willing to let Oliver the Prototype in as part of his family. Which to me? still shows that Elliot cares to some capacity.

Now, I haven't been interacting with the FNAF fanbase for a while, so my knowledge of William's character might be limited and wrong most of the time, but yeah... I'm honestly disappointed in how everyone just dumbs down Elliot to "William Afton version 2" or something like that.

I have been wanting to make a post not defending Elliot, but to explain how Elliot's not a bad father like William.
