This site has managed to both downplay the cultural role of 4chan and its proclivities towards recruiting racist mass shooters to publish their Hitlerite manifestos while overly dramatizing kiwifarms, a terrible site that is merely an outgrowth and extension of 4chan stalking/doxxing practices and politics with huge overlaps in user bases, but notably has not produced that many mass shooters. But of course, kiwifarms is the worst thing ever with no relationship to 4chan and 4chan was a normal site that stopped being relevant after 2009 (LMFAO)

4chan’s relationship to transmisogyny also just completely ignored.

Reminds me of the “trans women are the canary in the coal mine” stupidity that gets passed around. No, you just didn’t notice that before you became a target, these same exact groups organized themselves (and still do) primarily around racism. You’re just white the previous victims didn’t mean anything to you and you likely didn’t even notice they were suffering, until it impacted you, and then you pretended as if everything that happened before you first began noticing didn’t happen so you’re patient zero for fascism and thus the biggest victim in the world.

Which I think explains the 4chan/kiwifarms framing this site has.
