it was supposed to be simple, ever since the day he laid eyes on her. it was his mission to get rid of her when she appeared right in front of him at the ball. everyone there were like extras, staff who set up the stage, and the director in his earbud. in order for her not to catch on, everyone played along. and for the assassination of his father, he knew it was going to happen anyways or else he wouldn’t have signed up for something like this. he sighed a sad sigh. he preferred not to assassinate people, he preferred to be a diplomat but of course times called for it.
