it feels impossible that any element of wei wuxian could be under-discussed but i really feel like we collectively overlook the extent to which the entire plot after the war is the result of wei wuxian acting out due to the trauma of the golden core transfer. the fact that he could not, in fact, handle it is the reason anything happens, and is why it is the most important plot element in the whole story
