What is happening to Homestuck? [An Explanation of Current Events]

Alternate Title: Hiveswap is Dead

The past few months, the “Omegapause” if you will”, have been an odd time for Homestuck. For most, it has been quiet, or filled with Undertale. 

But for the few of us who still follow the WP team and their endeavors,it has been… a bad time.

Below the cut is as much info as I could hunt down and archive. 

TL;DR:  The New York WP team have been laid off, Hiveswap is in a development schedule that is “similar to Half-Life 3″, and almost everyone involved in Homestuck has either disappeared from the internet, or laid off with a NDA preventing them from ever discussing Hiveswap again.

I am so humiliated I brought my 3DS with me since I went to the city today and 4/6 people I met on street pass had their Animal Crossing spot pass on as well and I forgot how messy and ugly my house was I hope no one went inside it it's really bad I'm literally just using it as a storage shed until I fully expand my house hahahaaaa Everyone I met had really nice houses I hope mine looks half as nice when I'm through with it;;;;;

The frames are black and they have cheetah prints on the side! You're supposed to get new glasses every two years but my mom is cheap and stuff like that. Your school is already over?! Hehe, it's nice to know the feeling is mutual. I've been thinking of going back to new Jersey to do college but it seems like too much money. And I got new glasses after five years! Haha do you still commute through a train? Why does asking a question have a text limit?!

ooooh that’d be cool Jersey’s cool :Dwow awesome!! do they look nice? I don’t wear glasses but my mom always gets excited when she buys new glasses so you must be really happy ahahahahaha at the moment yes but school is over now (yessssss!)I will, however, be dorming once again in the fall though. I’ve been great actually! A lot has happened this semester, I’ve been commuting from home, only been taking 2 classes instead of 4 and it’s done wonders for my stress and anxiety ^u^

also I just got accepted into the School of Visual Arts in NYC and I’m so excited that I’ll be able to transfer there this fall ; u ; it’s really a dream come true!!
