Everyone is shocked that Virgil canonically doesn't know fandom terminology (or at least the term "ship) because in the Q&A episode he reveals he's on tumblr. But I believe this is no oversight. I believe that Virgil is NOT on fandom tumblr, and he is in fact, one of the dozens of people worldwide who is keeping hipster tumblr alive.

personal sanders sides headcanons so i don’t spiral lol. feel free to add yours!!

Virgil- tried reading the Aeneid since he’s named after the author, but couldn’t understand it. so he listened to it as an audio book and sleeps to it. found out he likes to listen to greek stories/myths/poems to sleep.

Logan- doesn’t need to wear glasses. growing up, Thomas thought subconsciously that people with glasses were smart, so Logan wore them to fit that logic. once he found out that wasn’t true, logan still wore the frames because he thought he looked cool and the others thought he looked strange without them.

Patton- guys he’s so bad at baking. i’m obsessed with fics where he’s the one who bakes treats, but in my heart i believe that man is awful at baking anything other than from the box cookies. BUT he is AMAZING at cooking, and will cook family dinners even though they don’t really need to eat lol.

Roman- his skincare routine is insane, but here’s the thing. he doesn’t even need it, because they look like Thomas so there’s no point in trying to “get rid of wrinkles” , clean out his pores or anything like that. he just loves that fresh feeling, and the process is what’s relaxing to him. he loved the methodical routine he has.

Janus- his form of relaxation is listening to court cases and trials like it’s a podcast. at first, he listened to them so he could argue his points better, but realized he actually enjoyed what he was listening too. his favorite are absurd cases like the divorced couple splitting their beanie babies.

Remus- he adores contained ecosystems. for those who don’t know, it’s when you fill a jar with pond/lake/etc water and some sand/greens to create a small ecosystem in the jar. you keep it sealed and the plants create the air, the water condensates like rain, etc. he has like 20 on his bedroom shelves and has created storylines for every single organism in them.
