Forgot to post this here! Mermay piece from this year which I started in May and finished in July! Took a lot of lessons from this and really wanted to test myself with it to see where I'm at.

Sombr 12 to 12 color study
reds are hard so had some fun with this one!
Drawn for Artfight! (OC's creator ~Deamond on AF) Style study from Guild of Monster Girls!
Some swordtember stuff! Been trying to combine 2 prompts from different lists. It's... been a challenge and as visible usually 1 is a dominating theme hahaha
We artin' we fightin' Made for ~Roxyan on Artfight! Had more plans but ran out of time.
Art fight funsies for @sindianstar
Some crates after the weekly pixel journey prompt! Nothing meant to be giga finalized!
Custom game portrait for funsies!
Color study Original photograph by Orla Fleming (OrlaFlemingFoto on Twitter, check her out!). Saw it and was stunned by the feeling and yellow haze over this image. Really wanted to learn more about the colors so re-drew it :)
Pixels I've been scribbling away at for the past 2 weeks! Emma Stone portrait with Cafe Dot.
Photostudy from PixelArtJourney's Discord server I finished earlier this month! Was a fun one.
Kicking off October with this! Going to start doing a bit more game-asset focused stuff, but I also would like to keep up with photostudies. So my solution is.. this.. haha Do a rough photostudy in some way together with some assets next to it and try to tie it together. The asset practice is the main focus of this for me, so the illustrative part 9/10 times will be pretty rough around either all edges or some of the edges. There's just no point 'perfecting' these when I get out of it what I want to get out of it. Kind of like a sketchbook!
With swordtember coming to an end, these have been my favorites of the bunch for a variety of reasons!
Got a bit 'lazy' in the last week but man, fatigue was real hahaha I may do a late necromancer prompt somewhere in October, but I really need a break from swords now for a little bit lol!
I'll first be doing some pixel art tree studies next.
Already looking forward to next year! :) Has been awesome to do so many prompts this time around and also see SO MANY cool creations from people. It's amazing how different people interpret the same thing, come up with unique designs, twists on a classic design etc. May repost a few with some further refinement! Since I learned a lot from this Swordtember I'd love to update a few for portfolio purposes too.
Day 26: Storm
This one took me forever lol! I couldn't get the clouds to have nearly as much volume as I wanted while also having the lightning go around. But considering I want to do some other thunder-sky scenes at some point I'm sure I'll have a rematch on that haha
Day 21: Eyes! Will skip tomorrow and back for day 23!
Day 19: Forest!
This was fun :D
The velvetting of the antlers could use some work in particular still imo. But it's fine. I might come back to this one and add some minor animation, so in case I'll mend some things then!
Day 17: Glass! One day late. Favored this over doing Jester to try and learn a bit about glass!
As seen on the timelapse I was struggling a bit to figure out how to go about it hahaha
I had a bunch of cool references that I figured out I couldn't understand well enough yet to put to effective use. I'll probably be drawing a bunch of glass slag chunks at some point lol!
