The subway station clan idea is like taking over my head
First clan lives in an old retired subway car left deep in the unused parts of the track
Second clan lives underneath the flooring of the station. They are usually the smallest group but they are also the stealthiest. To cme out from the flooring, they have to come through airways, or cross out in front of the tracks
Third clan lives in the skylights of the station. They are the only clan who can see the “outside” through the breaks in the ceiling. Only top ranking warriors are allowed to travel outside of the station
Fourth clan lives in what used to be a standard stop but was closed due to construction changes. The stairs to the surface are blocked off and crumbling with rock
StarClan is instead called LightClan, as the light is considered to be a rarity among the darkness that shrouds the subway station
The cats seeing street art popping up in their “territories” as prophetic signs from LightClan
The “trains” are not seen as predators or threats, but rather “Guardians” sent by LightClan to keep them in line. If a cat is killed by a train it is seen as being the will of LightClan
Twolegs keep their name. They are seen as cursed beings who tamper with the Guardians’ natural pathway
The outside world is a mystery to the four clans. A few words are known based on what can be seen from the views, but everything else is unknown.
It is because of this that the clans don’t encounter rogues, kittypets, or loners often
The clans tend to stick to only a portion of the station. There are dangerous predators outside of their established territories.
Prey includes rats, mice, bats, and birds that fly into the station from the outside
Scavengers like Opossums can also be caught as food, but they require more work to take down
Owls are not to be caught and are considered sacred messengers from the outside. Killing one is said to bring great misfortune to a cat. A cat can only be given the Owl- suffix by a clan leader or medicine cat
Snakes are to be approached with caution and be drained before eating. Medicine cats know how to do this
Predators include Alligators (called simply Gators by the cats), Bug Infestations and Foxes (yes there are cases of this). Like stated above, snakes are there too
Gators are to be avoided at all costs. The cats stay away from the sewer and water for this reason. The area is only to trespass into when there is an emergency, such as water shortages, lack of medicine, etc.
The foxes live in the “tunnel fluff” area which is made up of scavenged soft materials such as hair, twoleg clothing, and dust fibers. This area can be scavenged for medicine and warm materials during cold seasons
Medicine is the general term used for all materials in a healing format. Medicine can include herbs (the few greens that grow underground or just outside), fungi (mushrooms, mold, and yeast), sacs (poison from snakes), scavenges (materials gathered from animals such as pelts, scales, etc.), and bugs (different bugs can have differing effects)
