This year I want to make it a habit to pick up a book instead of my phone. Instead of getting lost on social media I want to get lost in books.

I’ve been making progress with this book. Love the mini stories in the book! I’m thinking I might actually re read this book again in the future.

I have been journaling lately. A place for my thoughts. A place to make sense of the things I have going on in my mind.

My family has a lot of Family archives and in those archives I found my grandfathers journal. And I started to read it. Mind you I have never met my grandfather and so when I read this journal I felt like I got to spend time with him. I got to know him. And honestly this is one of the reasons as to why I picked up journaling again
