What if Marinette was Coco's Mom? (A dumb crossover i thought about bc there are different forms of magic)

Marinette spills the beans bc she knows she cant afford not to be completely in sync with adrien, also they detransformed bc the transfer to the other dimension drained them of power

The kwamis are fine! They just need to recharge. To get back home adrien and marinette need to reach the end of the world. It takes them years. Marinette makes adrien co guardian to extend their lives.

Adrien was MAD mad at marinette for lying, but chose not to break up bc like. He is as obsessed with her as she is. Theyre stuck together your honor.

Instead of emma, their first child is coco! They teach her french and mandarin.

Coco is given plagg early bc its easier to disguise a cat kwami than a ladybug kwami. Yes the kwami can disguise themselves. In Coco's eyes theyre fairy like beings known as kwamis, but hardly knows theyre gods. Her parents like to keep it that way

Coco grows up with magic, but is still very into witch magic bc its SO DIFFERENT MOM, PLEASE CAN I LEARN

Mari and Adri are very careful not to learn how witches do magic. The name of the game is denial.

Their supersuits turn into those medieval robin hood-esque outfits complete with masquerade masks to blend in better

Coco is taught Not To Fuck with Unknown magic without supervision but manages to forget all that in her eagerness to perform witch magic and fucks up the house

Its okay! Marinette has superhuman reflexes and an attentive alarm clock known as Tikki so shes fine

In some versions, Marinette loses her arm after adrien cataclysms it so she isnt connected to the petrification spell. The dark stuff slowly kills her and coco now has a timer to beat.

Both adrien and marinette are very wary of qifrey. But coco begs them to let her learn witch magic.

This is qifrey's introducition to non drawn magic as marinette performs a vow of silence so she and adrien dont reveal their daughter is now a witch, or training to be one. He is terrified, even if the magic isnt aimed at him

If given the opportunity, Adrien and marinette would make a very devastating witch duo

Speaking of adrien, he handles their business and investigates the world to find clues on how to get home! Sometimes, he'll borrow plagg for stealth related missions. Hes not verry happy about it and would much rather stay at home, but his lady is the seamstress so someone needs to do business.

Qifrey meets the kwamis in god form at some point because he accidentally says the catchphrase reveal yourselves after getting spooked. He is even more spooked at the prospect of creation and destruction as genuine concepts turned beings.

Agott, tetia and riceh are told sparingly about coco's parents. Mostly they think coco's parents are weirdoes even for outsiders.

Coco would love paris i think. Shed be even more stoked to see her parents in superhero action!

When they get back, Marinette and Adrien have clearly aged, but not even a day had passed in paris. Its devastating. Tom Sabine and Nathalie are pretty stoked about their granddaughter though. Buuut adrien has words with nathalie and probably threatens her to spill about what the fuck she was doing with monarch.

Would they find out about the sus organization? Probably.

Lila is caught a lot more quicker now that marinette and adrien have less fucks to give and hardly have teenager responsibilities to get to. They abuse the hell out of Adrien's trust fund and marinette very quickly turns Gabriel the brand into her own design company.

This is if they ever get back lol

I finally have them both lol, these are the redesigns im going to use for my crossover/canon divergent au where marinette and adrien have a little bit different personalities :D (hint: im literal trash for a certain trope i insert it everywhere)

Marinette is called "Yinyue" which is a slight shortening of the full title "Devourer of Moon". If you figured out which crossover this is yes, she chose this bc she didnt want to think to hardly on the name same as og marinette and blurted out the first name she could remember

Adrien is called "Astrolynx" meaning "Star Chaser", sorta, Astro is taken from "astra" meaning stars and lynxes are always denoted in myths and folklore as creatures that seek the stars OR the creatures with the keenest eyesight to see the northern star. Adrien's just the kinda nerd to do this also he wanted to match his partner

These are just sketches since im too lazy to ink them up but maybe in the future lol!

my designs for street version of the nightcord girlies :D ive had the other three sitting around for a little while and only finished the mizuki one today!!!

(if anyone's curious this is from the au where vbs are depressed as hell and is part of my friend's fanfic though there is no mention of n25 like at all there lol)

kanade: she roughly still has the same background but her grandmother and honami catch onto her shut in-ness early and basically tell her to go out more. she wanders close to vivid street and finds mafuyu and ena in the middle of a heated singing battle, gets inspired, composes, and gets mafuyu to sing it. of course, she's roped into singing. kanade's wardrobe is more of a streetwear+sportsy look so she's able to move more comfortably. she likes having her headphones on so she's less overwhelmed by everything

mafuyu: mafuyu has enough of her mother's suffocating nature and rebels super early and finds that support in street musicians who encourage her to just scream out her feelings in song. she gets into an early rivalry with ena bc their personalities just clash but mafuyu has a high amount of respect for ena and kinda likes prodding her a little too much. her outfit is very much punk /inspired/ but she switches between a lot of styles, however she does like long skirts

ena: ena's story is the most changed from this because it involves the vbs story so work with me here: shinonome senior basically forces akito to develop his art skills making him the "perfect" son making ena feel so jealous and resentful of akito and they drift apart. she stops making art as much and focuses on her social media presence, eventually she's invited somewhere near vivid street and gets to sing, catching the attention of the musicians there. her outfit is more to suit her "elegant/refined" vibes that she wants to present herself as, but she can't help but make it look a little artistic with prints and stuff.

mizuki: mizuki idolizes the other three a lot. she's followed their journeys as musicians and is the last to join but that was unintentional even on her part--she really just wanted to make them outfits that would suit their next performance, but ena forced her to practice and found out mizuki's not a half bad singer. mizuki's arc goes a little better here as vivid street is more accepting with her identity but they do haze her a little as a musician with little to no experience. her style consists of a gyaru decora vibe (eventually she WILL put more cute stuff to decorate with) but is still attempting to find her "color"

fun fact: ena originally had a more pink palette but i forgot mizuki was also pink soooooo i just went with ena's current outfit color which was green

"Why can't you see?!" At this point, Dan Heng is snarling out the words, nearly incomprehensible to the mortal ear. "Why don't you understand?! I'm trying, I really am, but you won't listen! I hate this, I hate this, why must you be so blind and cruel? Ignorance is not bliss, it never was, but you have turned it into the most cruel torture, worse than your sword cutting deep into my flesh, worse than even your most mocking taunts. You wish to be repaid that badly, then I—"

Dan Heng freezes. Beneath him, Blade is breathing, barely. Weak and disarmed. His bloody face is nearly unrecognizable, body nearly mangled from Dan Heng's assault. Cloud Piercer hums to him softly, blade unflinchingly pointed above Blade's heart.

The sight is horrific.

"Ah…ah!" Dan Heng wails, his grieving mind broken and torn to pieces. His arms begin to shake.

Decided to draw my poor boy in the throes of grief. Enjoy his pain!
