I may be crazy but I feel like Kremy has evolved from a Black man who happens to be queer into a Queer man who happens to be black. Both in canon and fanon but mostly canon as the fandom has always kind done that, it’s just ramped up I guess??

It’s hard to explain?? My only example I can think of is his need to be presentable at all times. Like often being well groomed, suit and tie style like Kremy, would be used as a sort of armor to bias and to be taken more seriously. Even modern day black people aren’t allowed to be a little unkempt without being looked at suspiciously. And that is always how I have perceived Kremy’s fixation on his appearance, especially with how he reminisces on his days as a cook fearfully. Though I’ve noticed that it’s being treated like he’s just a diva??

And both things can be true but it seems whenever he has overlapping traits the ones more associated with queerness seem to swallow the ones associated with blackness.

It’s late and I could be completely crazy but alas.

I’ve said before I think the funniest way to gender-bend the Ouaw krew is to just slap “She/her” pronouns pins on their designs but I’ve decided a better way.

Them all being gender-bent but clearly not all to the same level: like Torbek is exactly the same except for pronouns, Kremy is a hyper-fem unrealistic cunty lizard who has boobs for some reason, Gideon is basically the same but has boobs and no beard now, Frost being the “was socialized as a woman and it tweaked my personality” one, and Gricko is pink with a bow now.
