Concept art for a character named Ambrose Von Aldritch; Daisuke's "husbando" from his favorite anime series, My Vampire Master! The character design is meant to resemble mid-2000s and early-2010s shoujo anime (think Ouran High School Host Club, Vampire Knight, The Wildflower, Kamisama Kiss, etc).
This character isn't really that important to Hanashima's plot honestly- but rather the worldbuilding and environment to an extent! This guy will be plastered on Daisuke's walls and various pieces of merch he owns. I also thought it'd be fun to attempt the art style.
I don't really know if I should tag Ambrose as a separate tag from Hanashima's Advanced Class or his own thing?
... Y'know what, I'll just put both. Since Daisuke's briefly mentioned I'll put him in the tags as well.
Facts about his creation and a transcript have been provided below the cut due to the messiness of my handwriting; I was kind of in a rush.
I also hope you guys like this style of me making transcripts of my handwriting and sharing more about myself! To me it makes me feel more professional (for some reason) and allows me to share more about my creative process.
Ambrose Von Aldritch's creation:
The name "Ambrose" according to previous research translates to "immortal." His surname (Von Aldritch) translates to "from rulers."
My Vampire Master was originally inspired by a mixture of Obey Me and Diabolik Lovers, before I narrowed the main inspirations down to media made earlier.
Ambrose's appearance (as of right now) is heavily based off of Tomoe's from Kamisama Kiss.
Ambrose is meant to be the kind of main love interest you believe wouldn't be with the protagonist, if literally anyone else had written the story.
My go-to song to listen to when creating stuff for this fake media franchise is the Cendrillon 10th anniversary cover (found here).

Another piece I made during a wifi outage. This time, with Kenneth!
I'm keeping things under wraps for the sake of not spoiling character arcs, but I really enjoy writing for Kenneth specifically.
I also tried drawing a few things before realizing: Holy crap, I've been so focused on the writing aspects of Hanashima that I haven't drawn in a long-ass time! Thus, I was drawing Kenneth after prepping a few writing things involving him! Might as well practice...
In addition, I decided to drop some Kenneth facts for those who may be interested! Read under the cut if you wanna know!
Kenneth Fun Facts:
Kenneth is musically talented; he's able to sing, but also enjoys playing the drums and various string instruments. He got frustrated with the piano.
He's a middle child; he has two older brothers and one little sister
Kenneth is usually careful with his money unless it involves various accessories (rings, belts, piercings, misc).
His hair color is actually a dark brown; he purposefully dyes it red since it's his favorite color
Kenneth's favorite food is a tie between either chicken tenders with fries or mac and cheese.

In order of appearance + signature color: Lucas (Gold), Hanako (Pink), Clover (Green), Lucien (Dark Blue), Daisuke (Light Blue), and Daichi (Purple).
The three remaining characters of the cast (Kenneth, Yuri, and Dong-Hyun) weren't included in this lineup due to issues with me keeping the measurements consistent while drawing, RIP.
honestly it’s kind of upsetting how much of the autism experience is just being shamed out expressing yourself in any way that’s normal for you and learning to keep everything to yourself so you’re not shamed for being weird and then being shamed for being so quiet because it’s also weird to be quiet but if you tell this to anyone else they’ll say “why do you care so much what people think” and that’s when the ancient ape part of your brain gets ready to beat them to death
