Geometric stuff

A few days ago I found on Pinterest a post with a lot of miniatures with little images (with more or less sense, some of them were quite abstract) all using very sharp and geometric shapes, so I decided to try something similar.

At my first try, the result was these colourful crystals:

As you can see the main figure are triangles, with very simple shadows.

I know it seems quite simple, but I did not like it any less... So I kept with the technique, and this brings us to this next result:

A simple landscape.

Just three mountains, one tree and the moon.

It isn’t cute? (Hello, ego!)

I do not know what impact this will have on you if you will like it more or less, but the truth is that I found curious have to play with triangles and how to manage them with such simple forms.

During the next weeks or days, I would like to carry out small illustrations like this, using the same technique. In case I do... Because you already know, I say I will, but then I can lose all the interest that I have now...

Whatever.

In any case, I will show you, guys!

Galatic Queen #WIP

Hello everybody!

It’s my first time posting on Tumblr, and I want to share on this first entrance my current work in progress, which I’m enjoying a lot!

It’s my first time trying this style, and I admit that when I started my idea of the final result wasn’t as good as it is. (I found some drawings that I used for reference, most of them were by Daniel Nyari, and of course, I did not think at all that my result would be to like me after seeing his works.)

For me, it’s kind of special because I have seen how this character evolves - when I'm doing some new project, difficult or not, if during the process I have a good time, it creates a kind of bond with him and I start to love it lol.

I want to show how this oc was at the beginning because it’s funny to see how cute and dumb she was against her new look:
