ZAIRE’s eyebrow cocked as the female brought up his father, causing him to clear his throat before he ran his tongue over his bottom lip slowly. For her to even insinuate that he was going to end up like his parents — got under his skin more than he expected. His nostrils flared as he forced a smile then he let out a low chuckle. “I’m not gon’ end up like my pops, aight? I can fuckin’ control myself. I had a weak moment, just one.” He sneered as he stared the girl in her eyes. One thing that pissed ZAIRE off more than anything was people thinking they knew about him and his strength when it came to his problem. “I don’t need rehab, I don’t need help, I need people to stay the fuck outta my business!” The male didn’t even release his voice had risen until he felt eyes on him. Clenching his jaw tightly, he looks down at the jewelry that was on his fingers. “When I say I’m okay.... I’m okay. I know you wanna help me and all but some shit I gotta’ deal wit’ on my own.” ZAIRE felt terrible for raising his voice at her and being harsh, but the male had a history of having a terrible temper and once something rubbed him the wrong way — there was nothing that could stop his tongue. He remained silent as his best friend went over this situation that happened at the hospital, letting out a chuckle before he tilted his head back and let out a laugh. “Y’all women be sum’ else, man. Sum’ else.” He had most definitely heard AYLA’s side of the story and BRYLEIGH’s lined up except for one minor detail. “I ain’t takin’ sides. Just next time, don’t call what me and her got little. And definitely don’t question her love for me. But reluctantly, she forgot to leave out that little remark she made about our friendship, huh..” He mumbled to himself before he brought his hand up to his neck, rubbing it as he looked at the table. “Quit apologizin’.” He stated before his words got cut off completely by a guard warning the visitors that they only have 5 minutes left. Sucking his teeth, he looked at BRYLEIGH and sighed. “I’ma be back Thursday, aight?” The male got up from the table and watched a guard come up to the table to escort her out of the room. The visual of her leaving was painful to watch but he couldn’t tear his eyes away from her. The male took his time leaving due to the fact that he didn’t want to leave her in a cold jail cell by herself but he knew that ultimately, she’d be coming home soon.
