“I enjoy the fact that I’m getting it from you, hottest person in this house.” Jack spoke smugly, though he had an easy point there, considering that most of the inhabitants were dudes, and not the good looking kind. “Well, that was… Nice.” he said, slightly confused by it for some reason.

“Flattery gets you everywhere,” she answers, trying to dispel the sudden awkward feeling in the air with a slight laugh. “Yeah, um don’t take this the wrong way, but I feel like I don’t want to try that again for some reason or other?”
