“Finally!”

Slamming his hands onto the table, Levi practically jumped up out of his chair since he’d finally decoded an old book he’d gotten on his last job just a few days ago.

The movement peaked the attention of the requip mage. Glancing over her shoulder with a raised brow the red head cleared her throat. “What is it that you are hollering about?” Her voice was lined with curiosity, and was also a little more eager to try and fill this void of boredom currently circulating her.

“Finally what?”

Mira prearranged to go on a midnight supply run, the guild had run out of a few refreshments that day and she wanted to be prepared for the next few days. Exhausted from hauling a cart twice her size full of supplies for her guild she  decided to stop and rest for a bit. 

As she was about to continue her usual route she noticed a very familiar silhouette. Mira awaited to see if the red hair woman would move or doing anything at all but to no avail, the reequip wizard stood motionless. Consumed by curiosity the she demon settled to investigate. She walked towards her guild mate shortening the distance between the two. Reaching her determined destination she finally let herself be known. 

“Erza? May I ask why you’re just standing here in the middle of the night?”

Honey eyes drifted towards the direction of the voice calling out her name. With a surprised look upon her features the red head tilted her head, arms tucked over her chest. “I could ask the same about you wandering the streets at this time of night... what brings you out here Mira?”

The woman let out a breathe and smirked, a look of victory upon her features as she turned her head forward and closed her eyes. “As for my reason, it is undeniably sound.” Erza cleared her throat once more. “What I desire is within that building just ahead of us, but it isn’t open as of yet, and will not be until a few more hours, In fact this is first time, a grand opening of the place, and I shall be the first one in all of Magnolia to try their delicious cakes which I hope are as delightful in taste as they are to the eyes.” 

Yup, she’s not crazy or anything, not at all.

Lets out a yawn as she sat outside of this newly renovated sweet shop. She wanted to be first in line, so what if it was the middle of the night. There was totally no intention of moving either, there would have to be forced involved, for she would be the first one to taste the newest delicious treats.

Darb orbs scanned over the requip mages features once Gray had made his proposal of what to do for the day. He’d said it had been a while since they’d spent time together, but now that he really thought about it he couldn’t even remember the last time- something that he intended to change as he quite enjoyed her company.

“Lucy never showed up at the guild today so i figure she’s taking the day to work on her book, though I doubt she’ll get far if Natsu shows up. So todays a perfect opportunity to have a change to the usual routine around here.” He hummed, slipping his hands into the pockets of the jacket he was wearing then leaning back against the edge of the table. A slight frown appearing across his features, he tilted his head to the side out of curiosity when she accepted his offer- with a catch.

 ‘Oh boy, this ought to be interesting.’ He thought, hesitating momentarily before speaking “And what exactly would this if be?” He inquired. Of course he had a few ideas of what she might want him to do, whether it be helping her pick out a new weapon or take her to one of her favorite sweet shops, but he figured either way he didnt mind as long as he got to spend time with her.

Of course there was a catch. Now, even if she wanted to hang out with the ice mage, there would always be some sort of little reward for her being at his side, in this case it was. “ Well it’s simple.” she grinned as honey hues met with his darker ones, arms folding over her chest as a nod was given before even mentioning the ideal plan she had in store for their hanging out. “We go to that cute little sweet shop and you my friend will buy me whatever cake my heart desires.”

her tone was serious at this point, along with the look on her face. That had been the way to win her heart over it seemed, or attention in this case. “Only then- will I accept your proposal, Fullbuster.” For good measures she had managed to make her way back over to the table, setting her foot up onto one of the seats and rested hands upon her hips.

If there was a little breeze, blowing her hair back, it might had seemed somewhat stoic and cool, but really her mind was making her believe that, in all honesty she just looked a little foolish. “Well then, do we have a deal?”

Head tilted in his direction as she stare at him, a look of desire in her eyes, she had been soooo close to achieving her wish of dragging someone with her to the shop.

Glancing around the guild hall, the raven noticed that most of the members had taken their attention off of Erza the moment she had finished speaking and gone back to whatever they had been doing moments previously. Turning back towards the requip mage, he flinched slightly out of reflex at the sight of the frown along with the scowl that were spread across her usually stoic features.

“Uh huh, or maybe you’re just being a bit too cautious Erza.” Gray spoke, an eyebrow arching upwards as he sat down the glass he’d been holding on the table and spun around on the seat to be facing her while she approached him. 

A small sigh parted his lips before he shook his head and pushed himself up off of the chair he’d been in to meet the redheads gaze “Look, if you really need to do something that badly why dont you and I spend the rest of the day together hanging out? Its been a while since we’ve done anything just the two of us.”

Perhaps the ideal of getting everyone motivated all at once had been a bit of a gamble, but it didn’t hurt to try. Right now, however her attention was drawn upon Gray. She arched a brow at his claim. She wasn’t being cautious! One could never be too cautious anyways right? Her features expressed a moment of disgruntled thoughts, before dropping honey hues to meet with his darker ones. 

Coming to a halt when she was a few feet away from him, the red head registered his proposal within her mind. It had been true, the two of them rarely got to hang out like the good ol’ days on their own. Not that the company of the rest of their team was bothersome, some days it was just a nice change of pace. Now was a good a time as any.

The steadfast look in her eyes softened immensely at his words, offering a nod in response. “You know... you’re right. I may just have to take you up on that offer Gray ~” the woman held a little hint of mischievousness within her eyes. “If-” Oh of course there had been strings attached.

It had only taken a few of the smaller jobs that were available to do for Gray to start becoming bored of how simple they were becoming- to the point where he had gotten back to the guild hall early in the evening a couple of times. Once he had, he had mostly spent the last few days wandering around Magnolia, something he hadnt done in a while so it had been interesting to see what new shops had been opened.

Today however the weather had taken a turn for the worse, a thunderstorm beginning to form in the normally sunny skies. The raven was sat near the entrance to the guild hall at an empty table, leaning back in his seat and idly swirling the water he had around in the glass. His attention being caught by the sound of the doors opening, dark orbs swiveled to see who had entered.

A low chuckle bubbled from his lips while he listened to the redhead give one of her usual speeches before moving into a pose. “Oh, come on Erza its not like we can go on many jobs with it raining like this so why not spend the day relaxing? Its not like the worlds going to end if we take a day off now and then.” 

To no avail did her speech kick start anyone’s mood. It seemed that the idea of her continuing might just drop the mood in the guild all the more, so she silenced herself. Facial features adjusted so that a frown was present and brows were furrowed inwards. Even if she had been silent, there was no rule again her expressing her disappointment in everyone.

Ahh yes, she knew this was the ticket to get everyone moving again. ( or so she thought) Arms reached up, and were folded against the front of her armor, as the woman stood mostly silent with quite the scowl upon her face. But it hadn’t been until the familiar tone of a certain ice mage caught her attention, that the front would drop near immediately.

“Relaxing on a rainy day is when something will happen-.” She stated as a matter-of-factually. Her eyes shifted around a few more times until she sauntered on over to Gray. “You see, that is what they want you to think, but if someone is going to cause any trouble it would be on a day like this! Evidently, this is to seem extra sneaky, but lucky for us, we aren’t that foolish and can see right through their plans!”

Okay so perhaps the scarlet knight was growing a bit stir-crazy being cooped up for the last few days.

Times were quieter, and with such a sudden long term wave of peace, one would expect it to be welcomed with open arms. That hadn’t been the case. Sure there was a hearty enough amount of jobs to go around, but they were small, and simple missions, ones which brought you back before sun down.

A lot of the others had coped with this peace, but having all those extra hours does cause the mind to wander, not to mention, anxiousness to set in. To top it all off it had been miserable all day in the form of weather, causing moods to sway this way and that.

She however, was not deterred. Marching into the Guild hall,she rested her hands upon her hips, and cleared her throat. Honey coloured orbs shot around, gazing at the various few lingering about. “Come now, are you really going to allow something as simple as the weather keep you inside all day?” Her tone was brought forth confidently, and strong, almost demanding.

“I’d expect more from the members of Fairy Tail! Surely there is something exciting happening around here, if not let’s make it so. I will not stand idly by while everyone lazes around like bumps on a log.” Posing with arm bent at the elbow, and hand formed into a fist just in front of her face as if claiming victory. Her words silenced by the soft whispers and coughs that shrouded the innards of the guild hall.
