I’ve seen a few TFA AUs where Decepticons (or warframes in general) are spikemechs only and the Autobots are valvemechs only, but like, I don’t think I’ve ever seen it the other way around? And honestly that makes so much more sense to me?

Like, large warframes being designed as carriers, because:

1. Bigger, stronger mechs being better equipped to protect their young

2. Having a larger frame means not only being able to carry large warframe sparklings, but also large litters of civilianframe sparklings at a single time

3. Having multiple mates and being able to carry large litters of sparklings that could all have different creators

And like, god, the image of this huge carrying Decepticon with a big swollen tummy having this harem of little Autobots just pampering them, bringing them energon, and attending to their mate’s every need (especially donating transfluid towards the healthy production of their sparkling) just reallllly appeals to me, ngl.

Also post-war peace negotiations leading to a breeding program to help shore up the Cybertronian population that somehow leads to Starscream getting DP’d in the valve by both Wheeljack and Perceptor, “for science”.
