I moved all my old LJ fic over to AO3 a few years ago but ALSO if, like me, you are Fandom Old and ever ran an old fiction archive AO3 will help you migrate all the works hosted on it over to AO3

I did this with the Buffy archive I used to run in the early 2000s and while I did some of it myself AO3 also assigned someone to help me

My Buffy archive was no longer live but we were able to salvage the works using Wayback Machine which means a lot of old fic has been saved and preserved

Both are beautiful forms of writing.
