i need more people to explore veela draco outside of the creature inheritance trope bc it is so fascinating but has so much lost potential. he wouldn't be fully veela, i hc it'd be on the malfoy side of the family, a pretty kept close secret bc GOD forbid anybody find out they have blood in their bloodline that isn't pureblood. just draco growing up and the ramifications of hiding the fact that he isn't fully human and the fear of the prejudice that'd come with it, or just experiencing the side effects of being a veela.

i think in stories about draco, too many people don't utilise the idea that the malfoy parents are bad people but caring parents. they do bad things but want their son to have a nice, comfortable life. i want to see more of them doing things and realising the effects it has on their son! or them doing something that really isn't great parenting but they're doing it because they think its the right thing! and even despite that they still send little caregifts and spoil the hell out of him. anything but black and white malfoy parenting
