music is my biggest passion ever. i play many many instruments, but im.. eh.. on some of em- jack of all trades, master of none !! but!! i do play mainly flute and guitar, flute and piccolo during my highschool marching band season !

. he is four years older than harper, and two years younger than cassian. at the time of his death, he was sixteen years old im sorry my lala 💔💔 (the siblings being 12, 16, and 18 in youngest-oldest order)
. genuinely i can only describe him as a fawn with the confidence of a buck . dude was getting into fights with kids every other day when he was little
. he lost all those fights btw
. he holds the older brother mentality of "only i can bully my sibling" so close to his heart. sure, he can call harper weird, but youre getting punched in the nose if you say it.
. despite how i usually portray him (through harpers kid memories of him), he was never an actual bully. he was mean sometimes, but he did everything to try to fit in.
. his biggest insecurity is his family. the town he grew up in relied a lot on rumors, so when kids found out his father mumbled to himself and his little sibling was a weirdo the teasing was endless. his worst fear was being called weird like the rest of his family.
. he is very righteous ! he only punches kids he thinks deserve it, and never goes out of his way to harm kids who didnt have it coming. however,,, he is always the one to throw the first punch
. he is very good with punching things
. if he lived, he wouldve become a boxer or a fighter of some sorts
. genuinely i can only describe him as ronno (specifically from bambi ii)
. after getting into fights, his mother would drag him around with a basket of bread to the houses of the kids he hurt to apologize . it was always the most half assed apology ever and you bet it was NEVER accepted
. he taught harper self defense when they were like . eight or something
. since cassian was too large and busy to play with him, he would get harper to wrestle with him on the rug in the front room near the kitchen as their mother worked (even five years later these memories are the ones harper is most fond of. they swear they can hear laughter from the room where they once played)
. he always wore this one green button up shirt that, after his death, was taken by harper (that is now the green shirt featured in their default design !)
. harper actually wears a lot of his clothing !! ill make a separate post dedicated to that but keep that in mind
. since he always found success in physicality, he didnt think of it as an issue to charge his father after seeing him kill his mother out of pure adrenaline and anger
. this charge was what solidified his fathers belief that his kids were out to murder him, snowballing into the three deaths of the day
. elric stayed alive for minutes after his stab wound was inflicted ! it managed to slip by his major arterys and instead go through his windpipe, eventually crushing it and causing blood to fill his lungs and throat . his exact cause of death would probably be asphyxiation from choking on his own blood
. he was able to hear and see both his mothers and his fathers deaths since he was alive for so long following
. he died relatively peacefully, surrounded by his siblings and held tight as he died
. i imagine his voice to sound vaguely like keebo from danganronpa v3 !
. his favorite animal is an elk ! hes only seen one in person and it changed his life

nobody hmu😭😭😭harpers sister in law genuinely believing they are dead😭😭😭because her then-bf told her they were and why would he lie😭😭😭getting engaged and saying how she wishes both his siblings were alive to see their wedding but he genuinely cant admit he lied to her face and harper is literally somewhere in germany unaware of this happening 😭😭😭😭😭thats her baby she loved them so much😭
i fear a lot of harpers design is very incredibly outdated but i also feel like a lot of it works ?
i dont realize how much i subconsciously add things into their design until im trying to see what looks so wrong with them
theyre designed (intentionally or not i lowkey forgor) to be right in the middle of everything. thats it thats the design thats the character thats everything about them thats their whole bit. not boy not girl, not dead or alive, surviving but not truly living.
and i feel like i really need to play into that more . i do things in their design but i never really SELL them so they're just kinda mild ? if i do one thing right its prob their androgyny? although recently ive been unintentionally perceiving them as masc i need to draw them with a cutie little skirt on theyd love layered skirts
like theyre so in the middle of everything and it really needs to be emphasized more when i talk about them . like theyre literally teetering on the edge of gender construct (historically inaccurste for their time but genuinely lick my butt if u have an issue with that theyre my oc i choose what to do with them) theyre neurodivergent but they dont exhibit symptoms enough to warrant intervention at that time, they have a very round face like their mother but they have their fathers deer-in-headlights look in their eyes, they have heterochromia, inheriting one color from each of their parents.
a lot of this stuff is inaccurste for their time , a lot is very cringe or unrealistic. but i genuinely dont gaf because bruh i formed this guy as a thought in MIDDLE SCHOOL in like 2020 or something theyre going to seem like it . also i really cant draw and im bad at portraying things in my artwork that should really be focused on (like their hair being somewhat curly (more damaged and frizzy from the lack of care)) and chopped unevenly for a sensory issue.

ok just when i think im getting better it just gets worse by a LOT i had so much on my mind i was actually gonna make a long post for once but i opened this app to try and write it down i forgot everything the brain fog is literally making me like a stupid rabbit that goes "bwuh!!?! wha!?!" every time i try to think more than two thoughts at once
not exactly a once skin since its plain af but its more like ,, an alternate timeline thats not as cool as once but its still alternate timeline harper
my thought process behind this was mainly just . hmm what if their father had properly communicated instead of growing distant and rude ? this would eventually lead to their family never dying, and therefore a much happier harp !!
their hair is grown out and (not noticeable but its supposed to be there) more kept and somewhat curly / wavy ? their actual once will be very curly I promise!! their hair type would be curly im yet to draw mama windrix but she has very curly hair !!! they take after mama :3 kinda thinking if theyre healthier and taken care of their hair would also be stronger and keep its pattern ?
their clothes are mostly all handmade, their vest was knitted by their mom and their patches were embroidered by them, maybe some comfy socks in the same yarn as their vest !
lastly the bracelets ouugh..,, matching with their brothers !! the beads are with cassian, who willingly and knowingly moved to france to study architecture with his fiance !!! wow !! the fabric is with elric, hes probably still living at home, unsure of what to do with himself, but hes alive and happy!!
