Phanatic Love for the Arts
This is a mural J.C. Zerbe painted on commission for Lucky Strike Philadelphia. Lucky Strike wanted to showcase the icons of Philadelphia with an iconic image of their own. Zerbe's mural exceeded their expectations and stands as both an homage to Philadelphia as well as an outstanding Zerbe original.

Another take on a classic, The Scream of Zerbe invokes both Edvard Munch’s original while communicating the raw energy of Zerbe. It’s a piece we can all relate to in this chaotic and connected times.
J.C. Zerbe’s Psychotic Roger
Zerbe’s bug-eyed interpretation of the Jolly Roger flag rings true to both the art and pirate fan in us all. It is a piece that reminds us that art can and should have a fun side. The Psychotic Roger is perfect for any Big Daddy Roth fan that you know. The background is a papyrus like color to give it that extra bit of authenticity.
This is Zerbe’s interpretation of the masterpiece sculpture The Thinker by August Rodin. The print is made from a high resolution image of the original pencil drawing. So high res that the paper’s texture is visible in the print. This is a must have for any person who loves contemporary art blended with classical subject matter.
J.C. Zerbe's The Bassist
Do you like music? Of course you do. And what would music be without bass? Whether it is a standup, four string, or a five string Jazz bass, the bass is the soul of the rhythm section that completes the work laid out by percussion. And though this bassist may be funky like the immortal Bootsy Collins, he has a distinct flash of menace in his eyes that reminds of us greats like Cliff Burton. Topped off with a hat that, one would think, the punk rock warlord Paul Simonon would rock. Perfect for any practice space or aspiring musician / artists bedroom.
Lastly, if any of you know Bootsy Collins or Paul Simonon, or are a necromancer who can contact Cliff Burton, we'd really love to hear what they have to say about the piece.
