PLEASE PUT PERSEPHONE IN A MERMAID STYLE DRESS!!!!! Ok hear me out
I just watched the proshot and since I've seen it twice in person, I was kind of hyper focusing on the costumes. I ADORE Persephone's green dress and I think it's so perfect. It swishes and flows when she dances, like the summer and spring trees, but if you watch closer she can only stretch the skirt so far. She can only do so much with Hades as her husband. No matter how much she drinks and dances, she's still in his cage.
NOW, her underworld dress is basically just the same but black, right? Now imagine it as a mermaid dress, she can no longer dance and sway in the wind. She's trapped in his iron grip. Her legs, once used to dance and stroll in fields of beautiful bright flowers, are trapped.
Bonus points if you manage to make it be able to expand (?) for when she and Hades dance near the end, showing how he's loosening his grip and understanding that he needs to set her free to love her. Make a flower or something bloom on there and UGH. I'd be weeping.
Kind of the dress I'm thinking, tight around the legs but flowly at the feet. Almost funeral-ly?? But I think her sleeves should stay the same , I love them so much ugh.
