okay picture this; i go back in time and find a victorian orphan child. do i blow his mind? do i break his brain? NO!!! i give him warm soft clothes and a hug. he gets me wizard high off what would commonly be used to treat a minor cough in that era. we both eventually contract a deadly illness and then i bring him to the future where we get easily cured of our ailment. i buy him a happy meal afterwards. he’s my good son now. love you son.

A few weeks ago I got to visit Scotland for the first time for a quick vacation. When I travel now I try to make a piece of art. I was very excited to see all the graveyards especially the Necropolis in Glasgow. So this is my graveyard queen, with a crown of headstones.

Some adaptations and reimaginings have played with the idea that Marley can save his own soul, contingent on Scrooge's. But the Dickens text suggests nothing of the sort. So we're left to conclude that this shade, trapped in eternal torment and regret, summoned the willpower and presence of mind to accomplish whatever afterlife hustling was necessary to make this whole plot happen, purely so his friend wouldn't suffer the same fate.
