Progress is being made, aside from what you can see in this video which is pretty much nothing in particular.
So yeah, modelling is done. Texturing, rigging and animation will come later. :^)
Doing some practice with Java. This is a game engine draft I did for some days. Things done are reading from TMX files and rendering maps, also rendering any sprite, animated sprites and priority rendering (as in, ordering how sprites are rendered).
Next things to do is adding objects from the map, and Lua or some scripting support for the events/cutscenes and whatnot (could even be XML since itâs bundled with Java and itâs already being used for the map parsing so makes things less redundant I guess).

JUST TO CLEAR OUT: Iâm not re-making Solitude on Unity. But Iâve been considering it. I promised a demo this month, and there will be one.
Though because of what has been happening (last weeks of the semester) Iâve had little time to work. So please excuse me if the game isnât on schedule.

Just wanted to do some... uh... editorial work I guess? And printed my maps to help me with planning Solitude. ;^D
My plan is to give away some demo discs at my university sometime this month. It will include a printed version of the game manual and a paper case âcause Iâve having some problems with getting miniCD cases where I live. :^/
