Finally had the time to post my first children book project :’D

After a long process, from workshop, character designing, storyboarding, sketching, coloring, a bunch of revisions, until printing & field testing, finally this book is published. Thank you so much for @provisi.education and @roomtoread for giving me this precious opportunity to join the illustrator workshop last year and trusting me to illustrate this book, for @zikrulbestari as the publisher, @novitaelisaillustration & @monalisawirta as the editor, and also mbak @fraubeby for writing such a lovely and adorable story, thanks a lot for the knowledge, cooperation, support, assistance, & guidance. Hope we’ll have a chance to work together again in the future 😀

I’m so glad to join this project, because finally I can fulfill one of my childhood dreams, which is making a children storybook. Wish this book could inspire & add more colors to young readers among the world ☺️

So back in 2007 when I was still in highschool, I made some sort of self portrait compilation, same face with multiple personalities. And now 12 years later, I tried to redraw it. What a character development.

There was a time when I was so burned out at work, then randomly I found this Stan Lee interview video. It got me thinking, someday, in my deathbed, will I regret all of the things I didn't do? Will I regret of things I have no courage to chase? Not so long afterwards, I decided to resign from the office and back to pursue my childhood dream as a writer & comic artist. I still don't know what my future holds, but I want to live long happily, seeing my dream came true, just like him. Opa Stan Lee, you're the real hero. Thanks for everything. You will be missed ♥️
