I feel like a lot of contemporary Queer Fantasy Writers™ are trying to make the Ethical Cool New Woke Harry Potter when they could simply not try to make Harry Potter again
[ID: image of a bluesky post from LittleKuriboh that reads: "
I've been making changes in my personal life that I haven't spoken very publicly on, but one thing I do want to be public is that my close friends call me Bea now.
And if any of you want to call me Bea or B, that would make me very happy. <3
But no pressure, I won't be upset if I hear Martin." then another image of her profile where theres a profile pic of a kuriboh and a description that reads: "creator of YGOTAS - voice of Freeza in DBZA - enjoyer of butts - bisexual - she/her - (trans flag)" END ID]
I've been a fan of LittleKuriboh since I was a teenager, me and my friends watched yugioh the abridged series all the time and still do from time to time when we hang out.
love that for her wish her the best <3
Last year I first discovered HTML day, though this event has now run for the past 4 years!
Do you want to learn to code your own HTML website (for free)? Or are you already an HTML creative? Check out world HTML Day and some resources to get you started!
Here's my first attempt at recording an audiobook version of any of my stories! This is Part 1 of my indie Dragon Fantasy Flames of Bedlam! This is an origin story set in my Final Fantasy IV AU that tells of how the Dragon King Bahamut was created and how the Summoned creatures came to be. Only Book 1 of this story is complete. If folks enjoy this telling, I'll continue to post audio sections and even consider continuing to write Book 2! Thanks so much for listening and please leave a like and subscribe to my channel for future fantasy stories!

Another batch of samplers is up! And I'm already excited for the next batch-- I'm quite happy with the last two updates to Samplerbot, and I think the upcoming samplers are gonna be real pretty. :)
As a stitcher, working on Samplerbot has been good for my artistic instincts-- especially when it comes to being more adventurous with fabrics! I typically stick to white and black and coffee-dyed, but now I am thinking I might like to find a deep red... or another jewel tone, perhaps...
It's waterproof. It's windproof. It's lightweight and durable. And it's made from the intestines of two bears, painstakingly cleaned and sew
I really wanted to know more about this, especially how the water proof stitching works. Here's more information on this project, and hopefully more in the future!
This is amazing! I need to make a note to play around with that water proof stitch technology soon.
June Pardue has a video on YouTube demonstrating the waterproof stitch!

People really need to take a wider view of this paranoia about age gaps and realise this is how we lose the ability to build communities. You need to be able to realise that people can have things in common with you even if they grew up in a different time/place/culture. You also need to realise you can build communities with people who don’t have obvious things in common with you, that people can have the same goals and needs as you even if in most ways they’re very unlike you. Now, more than ever, we need to be able to work together to have any chance to stand ip against the few who have so, so much more power, money and influence than any of us do individually. We need to form communities that reach across age (and class and race and sexuality and so on…).
I... I have coworkers who are from 26 to like. 56. we have work in common?? the work we all do?? together?? commonly? all of us, at all of our ages???
Also I don't care what I have in common. I can strike up a conversation over plenty of shit I don't have in common. That's how you exchange information on topics. Learn To Ask A Question And A Follow-Up Question.
do these people not talk to their family members? I mean my niece and nephew are some of the coolest people out there and they are 30 years younger than me. Do they have nothing in common with their parents or aunts and uncles? My community elders in the fiber community are awesome and I have learned so much from them. And regularly do social things together.
