I am still very much antu-endo, however the whole situation has been extremely detrimental to my mental health and I ask you to be respectful of my wishes and not bring it up here. I will keep my blog theme here as I am still a huge fan of pokemon and zygarde in particular and I dont think this situation should ruin that for me

a Fatifue Fronter is an alter/part who fronts in moments of extreme fatigue, burnout, and/or exhaustion. They may either front to specifically help deal with these feelings or may just front specifically during these moments

Hypomania Holder

An alter who either holds traits of hypomania or might increase the systems symptoms of hypomania while in or around front.

"Hypomania causes high energy, mood changes, impulsive behavior, and little need for sleep. It's less intense than mania but its still noticeable to others." -Cleveland Clinic

Some Symptoms of Hypomania (according to the Cleveland Clinic):

Acting on impulse and getting involved in risky activities

Feeling unusually driven and taking on more social, work, school, or sexual activities

Moving in restless or agitated ways, like pacing or fidgeting

Talking more than usual or finding it hard to stop talking

Mania Holder

An alter who either holds traits of mania or might increase the systems symptoms of mania while in or around front.

(Some) Symptoms of mania (according to Cleveland Clinic):

Acting on impulse, leading to unwise and/or risky choices

Feeling unusually driven and starting many projects/activities at the same time

Moving in ways that dont have a clear purpose, like pacing or fidgeting

Socializing more than usual or contacting multiple pwople at once

Talking much more than usual and speaking so fast that others cant interrupt

For teenagers they may seem uncharacteristically irritated and may lash out at others

Delusion Holder

an alter who holds certain delusions the system may experience/have like paranoid delusions (but there can be others, this is just an example). This alter may purposefully try and drag other alters or people into their delusions but this is not always the case. They can also be more sensitive to triggering topics surrounding these delusions.

This doesnt always mean you should treat this alter differently. Isolating them or infantilizing them can cause things to be worse for both the alter and the system as a whole. Though of course, do whats best for your system

This term is only for people who experience genuine delusions. Not for those who think yhe word "delulu" is cute or for those who like to "schizo post".

I think the issue is more that you're coining things with such generic labels that are sometimes just copies of inclusive labels. Even if it's not a medically recognized thing, something like "mediator" is still a role that's come around independently multiple times because it's a common word.

There have been a lot of blogs that do something like this and a lot of the time it winds up with people harassing endogenics for "stealing" their terms, even though they're just generic words. I get that's not your intention but it really comes across as just trying to coin labels to try to claim them instead of making them in good faith.

Either way terms get shared. The term system as we're using it probably came from IFS. If we want terminology purity, system wouldn't be allowed for DID/OSDD any more than endogenics under that logic.

Im still extremely new to term coining and such and I understand that I can sometimes have something generic but im still learning. We tend to struggle a lot with words sometimes but I dont think that means we should be excluded in being able to make terms. I also dont think this excuses that anons behavior in the slightest, im sure youre just trying to find an explanation for it but I dont really need one.

This side-blog was supposed to be something fun that I could do on the side. I think there would be so much controversy over me making terms

Im not gonna stop making terms, but I might turn off my inbox for a bit just so I could have some peace of mind

Not asking for terms to recoin but I wanted to say I’m not understanding the place people are coming from comparing you to anti endogenics. Honestly what’s the issue recoining terms from communities that are harmful to people with disabilities. If endos can take medical language and bastardize it, bastardize religions, cultures and make a mockery of spiritual practices I think you are perfectly within your lane to recoin.

I appreciate that a lot! Im not a stranger to how (pro)endos act to people who are just trying to live. I dont expect others to use my terms or even acknowledge the fact that I recoin some. This is just kind of a side thing I do for fun to get a way from syscourse and stretch my creative muscle a bit!

Mimic

A mimic is an alter who pretends to be another alter, either for a limited time or consistently. This can be for various reasons that arent always malicious and may actually serve for a purpose

An alter who prefers or has to be more internal. This may be because of a specific role, personal preference, or for other reasons

Mediator

A mediator is an alter who mediates a fight either between two (or more) alters in-system or two (or more) people outside of system. They are able to help keep others calm and guide through the argument to hopefully reach a mutual agreement, making everyone feel heard/understood.
