قلبٌ مثقلٌ لا يجد ملجأً إلا إلى الله

A heavy heart has nowhere to go except to Allah

السلام على الذين ينزف قلبهم ولكنهم يثقون بالله

Peace be upon those whose hearts bleed, yet they trust in Allah.

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

"Be pleased with everything that Allah does with you. For indeed He does not prevent you except to give you. He does not test you except to protect and save you. He does not give you ill health except to cure you. He does not give you death except to give life to you.

So beware of not being pleased with Him even for the blink of an eye. Such that you fall in His eye."

May Allah bind our hearts to the akhira and not let the worldly things beautify in our eyes

إِنْ كُنْتَ قَدْ فَوَّضْتَ أَمْرَكَ إِلَى اللَّهِ،

If you have entrusted your affairs to Allah,

فَلِمَ تَخَفْ أَوْ تَقْلَقُ؟

Then why are you worried or fearful?

أَمَا تَعْلَمُ مَنْ هُوَ اللَّهُ؟

Do you not know who Allah is?

Go back to Allah, even if you've sinned a thousand times.

إِنَّمَا هَٰذِهِ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا مَتَاعٌ وَإِنَّ الْآخِرَةَ هِيَ دَارُ الْقَرَارِ

this worldly life is only [temporary] enjoyment, and indeed, the Hereafter - is the home of [permanent] settlement. 40:39

Umar ibn al-Khattab رضى الله عنه said:

"When a man is careless with his deeds, he'll be tested with grief in order to make up for this."
