in fact while ive been away ive upgraded everything i do. Built a bunch of kits and finally started putting money into my hobby, after a lot of failure ive finally got a custom paint job I dont hate thats 90% finished

ASW-G-11 Gundam GAYsion Rebake

Happy (late) Pride! One of these years I will actually start a pride project before the month starts. Not this year, but some day.

I've always loved the Gusion Rebake and I've been looking for something novel to do with this kit for years. I got the idea for an inverted gradient camo pattern and It seemed like a perfect fit. The rainbow pieces of armor were primed white, then painted with a gradient using Mr. Color clear colors, then masked and primed and painted again. It was a process but I am very happy with the effect.

Some of the accent pieces have an iridescent coating to them but unfortunately it did not photograph as well as I hoped it would.

Been experimenting with printing my own decals (to mixed success lol) but Im putting some work into my entry grade strike. Still wip but done soon hopefully

Theres so much you can get out of even a cheap kit if you practice and build up your skills and tool base, I love this hobby

Oh man, I hate RG wing Gundam zero, I wanted him for years but when I did the build I hated it so much that I never panel lined him. Well he lost parts on the move to my new apartment, so I decided to do some work to him and I gotta say, he's looking alot better, I dont think im going to take the time for decals though, hes just too fragile.

Oh man, I wanted this kit back when I started and passed it up. I was like 22, well Im 31 now and after looking all over for a decent price for years, somone posted him for 20$. This is the most time ive taken with a build so far, I know I could improve the look vastly with some proper panel liner and a matt clear coat, but for now Im happy with him.

Man, I thought I lost my gunpla in the mail, my package had been "in transit" for over a week, I had made peace with possibly having lost half my collection when the tracking status finally changed. They were packaged pretty horribly and we lost some pieces, but I have half my collection back now!

I finished building my first Gunpla yesterday (of the Nobel Gundam, of course), and I have had a lot of fun taking pictures of her all day today.
