Game that initially appears to be a porn VN starring a Perfectly Generic Male Protagonist, except when you get to the "here's how the sex mechanics work" portion of the intro the girl has a Magnitude 10 klutz moment and accidentally kills him, upon which the viewpoint switches to her and the rest of the game is a reverse investigative procedural about trying to cover up the fake lead's death.

(To be clear, while the game's narrative tone is moderately satirical, the non-fakeout lead herself isn't played for laughs, and she's actually pretty traumatised about accidentally killing a random hookup. There's a bad ending if you max out her mental stress meter where she ends up confessing to a murder she technically didn't commit.)

Whenever i get into his car i have to spend an embarrassing 3 minutes adjusting everything back into clown car proportions so i can fit. Anyways a couple lessons ago he had me do the same route over and over to practice and there was a dead seagull in the middle of the road at one point and to keep correct positioning on the road i was required to drive over its carcass like 19 times just goring this seagull until the 20th lap when my instructor looked at the seagull that now more resembled tomato soup than a bird and said "this time. you spare seagull" and so i did and then he said "incorrect positioning on road"

In Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2, it is possible to make Mario shiver on command. If the analog stick is pushed as lightly as possible, Mario will simply shiver instead of moving. Note the subtle vibrating movement of his hands.

This is unique in that most 3D platformers have a "dead zone" around the middle of the analog stick in which input will do nothing, and moving the stick outside of the dead zone will result in slow movement.

The Super Mario Galaxy games implement the dead zone not as ignoring the small analog stick inputs outright, but instead as simply not letting Mario move from the spot; however, he still reacts to the input by skipping frames of his idle animation, resulting in the "shivering" effect.

I explained the “x before gta6” meme to my immigrant father and he, in turn, explained to me how back in his day in Romania, they had the same type of joke, except instead of it being gta6, it was about the imminent death of a singer named Gică Petrescu, who everyone was continuously shocked by because he refused to die. Every time a momentous event happened people would say, in essence: “This happened and Gică Petrescu hasn’t even died yet?!?”

So. He understood the gta6 meme immediately because they apparently had the same thing in Romania when he was young, except way, way more morbid
