So today I went on a quest to find a very very rare flower based on some sleuthing on my part. I did not find it but a very nice woman named Frieda let me walk all around her paradise-like property to look for it. Here’s some highlights. Really lucky to meet friendly people who own perfect places. I also saw several pileated woodpeckers and a big ol’ terrified woodchuck. While this plant may appear to be a Haworthia, it’s actually an Astroloba congesta, and is much more closely related to Gasteria!
