Never Wanted That (Homelander x Original Female Character of Color)

Willow Harris is given an assignment to work as the personal assistant to Homelander. A position that at first seems pretty easy. That is until, she accidentally breaks his number one rule.

The first 28 chapters of the story takes place during the events of The Boys Season 3.

I'm rewatching 2015 DD season 2.. and my god I just love Frank and Karen. Rewatching it and seeing how much Karen cares about him, and the scene where Matt and Karen are holding hands and they walk into Frank's room and Karen let's go first? It's like the divide.

That's the first moment when Frank comes between them. And it's such a good film moment!!

And Frank comes to Karen first when he gets released from Prison?? God I love them.

I love how he cares so much about her and how she cares about him. Their relationship is... So fucking good.

I am so glad that Eric Kripke and the writers changed things as they adapted The Boys from graphic novel to screen. I dreaded the ending but after watching the final episode I liked the change. Also, there are two characters that I was extremely worried about. Both of which survived.

If siren is renewed for a fourth season and then I’m gonna need the polyamorous trio to reunite. I don’t know what the writers were thinking. The idea of separating Maddie from the trio for the entire season was a horrible one. This new relationship with Ben and Ryn was weird without Maddie. They did not need to kill off Dale. As far as the ending with Ben I don’t know what that means, but I’m going to need this season to be a dream. Also, Maddie did not need a new romance to help her get through her trust issues with Ben. I don’t like the fact that she went off to save the world with Robb.

I was so sad when I realized that it wasn't just a rift in the relationship but that they broke up and that they'll stay broken up. and in the grand schema of it over something so small. There were other ways to give maddie more agency in their relationship :( and also nobody tried to fix it?! Like at all??

The writers underestimated the fandom’s love of that polyamorous trio. They ruined a good thing. I haven’t thought about Siren in a while but reading my post and your reblog reminded me. That show should still be on the air.
