Tomorrow's the big day for Stoli's surgery! Can't come soon enough although I'm very nervous and feeling emotionally all over the place. He's been having some breakthrough pain so we upped his pregabalin these past few days. I think we're as prepared as can be.

Happy 8th birthday to Dasher!! She got to pick out toys at the pet store (her fave: a crinkly octopus with squeakers in each tentacle) and received multiple birthday wishes. Our usual birthday tradition of going to a local dog friendly restaurant and splitting a chicken sandwich was complicated by the heat. We sat out there for 10 or 15 minutes before we decided to take the food to go--which means Yadkin ended up getting some too. Happy birthday!!!
